This:

That seems to be the "standard" now. The Adafruit style ones are gone. The boards have oval holes to fit either style

Re: [AVAILABLE] TTSH V4 Build Thread

You might want to adjust the counter sink or the edge bevel, you have a super thin web between the two in the corners and that usually doesnt come out well. Going to an anodize material and print process will drop the price $40, i've done the powerdercoated thing there before and really its meh at b...

I'll make the stereo jacks available in the shop. I have enough https://michigansynthworks.com/collections/other-hardware/products/qing-pu-wqp-wqp419gr-stereo-3-5mm-jack RK09 will NOT work, they have an M9 collar and IDK if they will fit correctly. Smallbear carries the right alpha pots (they are cl...

Re: Need to find a certain potentiometer...

Small bear sells the 25 and 15mm Song Huei pots in all sorts of values. Bourns also makes them (and mouser stocks them). I like the bourns a little better but they dont paint the pointer. 750 and 5M values, you're dreaming though. If you plan on making more than one of something, go to a fab and get...

Re: [Build Thread] Jasper, an EDP Wasp Clone

Quick question: where are you guys getting these sick yellow knobs? That's the last piece I need before it's done aside from a case. check for a UK eBay seller with those knobs -- if I recall, around ~$65 for them Yeah, do NOT pay 65$ for those. They are cliff parts and are dirt cheap. TME is where...

Ok, everything's in stock now (I2C/midi cables, expander, etc).

I'm working on manual but the apocalypse has been an oddly busy time time so its slow going. Feel free to ask questions here if anything isnt clear. I'll add some usage notes in the OP

Re: Neutron sound Dust of Time.

So just a quick note regarding the pots on the device. The board is laid out for the click pots which has a pretty smallish footprint. Its VERY specific due to those parts construction. To get standard 9mm pots in there, you will need to bend all the legs in a bit to get them to fit right. Probably ...

Re: Neutron sound Dust of Time.

..- would it be possible for you to throw the hex and the SD card stuff in a zip file that's a no brainer to download? That would make my life a bit easier. Also, I'm not happy with my voltages - at the printed on the pcb test points, I'm getting only 3v at the 3.3 point, 10.86 at the 12v point, an...

Yes, its not required but safer that way. You can murder the SD card if you dont and plug in the USB with it powered

Neutron = Canada, not USA

I'm in the USA (as the company name implies)

Those knobs are custom made, they are not available at any retailer.

it was just coil whine. did loading it down reduce it? I shelved mine and never really got into it due to external factors.. It looks like a decent design though, it would be cool to get it working

Re: PSU whistle

Interestingly enough, I built the same thing (this is the PSU out of the Korg MS-20 mini) and had the same thing. I assumed that this was the result of the coil in the actual device being a custom wound one, I couldnt find one that matched the spec
