Re: Intellijel 1U Rackmount Brackets?

Could you maybe buy a 1u rack shelf and manually screw the rails to the side of the shelf frame?

Re: What's missing from my 1st rack?

Clock generator/modulator (Pam's is a great suggestion always)

I would also look at options for some LFO's and attenuators/offsets

Re: The elusive 'all black' panel themed euro systems.

Also, anybody know of an offset and attenuverter module in 4hp (3U) in black? Basically a SPO in black. im not turning up much other than using a 2hp Avert and 2hp DC but that would require summing the signals which is cumbersome. Befaco dual att is 5hp but I know the odd hp isn't usually immediate...

Re: Recommends for 2hp EG or ADSR module

If you want an envelope your best bet is probably the 2HP EG. Not many modules in 2HP. I don't have personal experience with the Meng Qi LPG but if it's anything like my Takaab passive LPG, it actually responds better to gates than to envelopes. Might be worth investigating if that is your main int...

Recommends for 2hp EG or ADSR module

Hello all, I am finalizing a small 60 hp moog case and find myself with a 2hp slot to fill. Thinking the best use of my 2hp is another envelope for the LPG. Looked at a few options on MG but thought y'all may have some favorites. Current MG link: https://www.modulargrid.net/e/racks/view/1214488 Note...

Re: Did your Modular Grid go as planned?

For the most part yes, but because I sometimes go to modular grid just to peruse or explore in my free time, it usually ends up in me discovering small things that could improve ergonomics or workflow.

Re: Eurorack Beginner

Maybe consider bailing on the Mordax Data for something that can generate gates or triggers, a 4 or 5 step sequencer to drive a second VCO. Data looks like an awesome module, and one i'd love to have in the future, but its an HP hog for something that introduces very little added functionality in t...

Re: First Eurorack System - Stereo Mixers and Case Options

I'm not the most versed on stereo mixers but Make Noise X-Pan, Verbos Scan & Pan & Erica Synths Stereo Mixer are some good options to look at for starting your search. As far as I know those don't convert signal down to line level so you would need something like a make noise XOH or rosie to convert...

Re: Eurorack Beginner

Great insight here. It truly is paramount to have SOME kind of specificity to your approach. Even if its broad, you should have a goal in mind with your system, what does YOUR instrument need to do for YOU? Beyond that, definitely double down on utilities. Get a batumi or an ocdh and some attenuator...

Re: What modules would you suggest (beginner build)

I would say intellijel Ufold for wave shaping w/ small footprint, alm chalkboard for mult/octave switches, Mengqi 2hp low pass gate (bound to come in handy with 5 voices, esp if you get a dedicated adsr module as you hinted at)... and of course, cant go wrong with a Disting.

Gonna throw in a +1 on the random sources. Love my wogglebug. Def new to modular but its one of my utmost favorite parts, relinquishing control and being surprised even in very small ways.

Re: Make Noise QPAS

New to muffwiggler and just needed to say its great to be able to hear the different ways people approach certain modules and what they feel they get out of them, before I personally purchase. No synth shops around me with anything eurorack so i'm at the mercy of youtube tutorials and manuals but th...
