Re: Announcing Strega!

Does the top panel feel secure? I was looking at these but wasn't sure if I would trust patching in and out of what looks to be almost a 90 degree surface. Would love to hear your thoughts! lol. that is a very good point, did NOT even test that. just did, and it's not very stable at all. the other ...

Re: Eurorack Saturation

+1 for Tallin, tanh[3] & Vortices - all great for saturation ! *Especially Vortices*

You can also push the Moddemix pretty hot but that gets into more of a distortion that's a little less clean than Tallin.

Perfect circuit has it listed as having an envelope follower (not sure if this is accurate or not.
I’m pretty sure the envelope follower is one of the CV outs in the bottom left (for the external input, which is always appreciated). So then maybe the other CV out is related to activation?

Re: DivKid RND STEP

hi everyone thinking about getting the rnd step but iwas thinking if its not lil bit expensive just for some sampleandhold stuff. Any Ideas how i can justify my gas :help: ? Greets It's a very accurate, completely analog S&H with 6 different outputs (3 unipolar, 3 bipolar), noise and useful normali...

The RND Step from SSF/DivKid was designed with pretty much exactly the goals you described, definitely worth a look. 6 S&Hs arranged in pairs, with clever normalling.
Echoing this... it's exactly what you want. I love mine and it can easily find a place in any patch.

Re: Weird LFO options?

I find I like modulation sources that have the capability of different simultaneous rates. One of the reasons I like 0chd. And even though 0chd has just triangle wave outputs, with cross modulation, there are tons of other shapes possible! I love playing with the CV input on 0chd. Even better when ...

Re: Best square wave VCO?

I still love the square wave out on Mangrove (and best of all you get the formant too although that’s off topic lol). The square wave is great for self patching as well :sb:

Re: I'm sorry, really, but I'd like your opinions re QPAS or Stereo Dipole or Parallax

Just wanna show more love for the QPAS here. I love using it as a resonator and modulating with all of its plentiful inputs (not to mention all of the output it has). I agree that the QPAS starts to quickly take on a life of its own quickly once the resonance gets higher- but that’s the charm. Play ...

Not sure if this has been answered already but does anyone know if the Micro or mk2 accepts both modular and line level inputs for recording?

My Moddemix is the same- it’s the nature of the circuit. Try playing with the strength knob. I usually don’t have mine completely counterclockwise when using it as a VCA

Re: Ochd by Instruo / DivKid

Has anyone received their pre-orders from Perfect Circuit? I ordered one back in January and am still waiting :waah: Same here. Here's to waiting. My concern is that PC is very liberal in taking pre orders for items "arriving soon." I wouldn't be surprised if more pre orders exist than OCHD arrive....
