FX : Eurorack vs. ITB
Hello all! This is a topic I've been contemplating for quite a while (also given the state of the world and being less than a month out from the election here in the US I'm finding more and more comfort in the escapism of eurorack fantasizing). Comfort is a crumb and all that, but, anyyyywwwayyyyss....

Re: [ORDER] [PCBs/panels] Eurorack Joystick module
Another quick newbie question before I commit a potential blunder!
What direction should these switches go in?:
(First time ever soldering any switches
)
Thanks!

Re: [ORDER] [PCBs/panels] Eurorack Joystick module
Long leg is + It has A dded length. The "A" lets you know it is also the A node. If you think of the flat on the body itself as a minus, you have a dual method to check. Take a moment to look at the ones you can see inside. To familiarize yourself with what the two shapes of anode and cathode look ...

Re: [ORDER] [PCBs/panels] Eurorack Joystick module
Quick newbie question!
I'm just about to start this build (synthcube kit) and I just want to be sure:
For the 2x LEDs, is the long leg (+) or (-)? I've gotten mixed up on this with various kits before (Befaco, NLC).
Thanks!

Re: Befaco Rampage build
Bit of a thread necro, but 10 pages into the search function and this seemed like the most relevant thread to post on :P I'm contemplating picking up a Rampage kit (when they become available again) but I don't know if my DIY skills are up to the task. So far I've completed these modules: - AT AT AT...

Re: Bizarre/Strange Oscillators?
Wow, thanks for all the recommendations everyone! So many amazing modules I hadn't known about or had forgotten about in the sea of modulargrid browsing options. I've been thinking this over a lot (over the past couple years to be sure, but more and more the past couple weeks). I'm finally realizing...

Re: Bizarre/Strange Oscillators?
@Zymos Indeed I love NE! I do own all of their Rack Extensions for Reason and they’re brilliant. @Lux A Turner Whoa that E-RM Polygogo is indeed a really interesting looking module, had not seen that one before. @mritenburg I did have a morphagene for a while, but ended up selling it. Completely do...

Bizarre/Strange Oscillators?
Hi all! I'm currently looking to add another sound source to my eurorack setup. Here's where I'm at right now: https://cdn.modulargrid.net/img/racks/modulargrid_1210056.jpg https://www.modulargrid.net/e/racks/view/1210056 I end up using Tides as an oscillator a lot (which is great fun) but most of t...

Re: 1010 Music Bitbox - Sampler/Looper
Contemplating picking one of these up in the future, primarily for CV recording/CV sampling and manipulation of said CVs. Does the Bitbox mk2 seem like a good option for this, or would it be completely overkill? Any other cool alternatives out there for that kind of thing?

Re: 3 Fried Modules - Seeking Repairs
If you haven't solved your issue already and want some help, I'd be willing to repair all three modules for shipping + a small fee for my time. I've built dozens of modules -- mostly SMD, but also some through hole guitar pedals -- and I already have all the tools and plenty of spare parts availabl...

3 Fried Modules - Seeking Repairs (SOLVED!)
Hello all! I was advised by the friendly folks at the Gearslutz modular board to head over here with this question. Early in my eurorack journey I plugged in three modules power cables incorrectly (doh! ) and, well, fried them =/ I've finally gotten over my shock/shame enough from that experie...
