Re: And so it begins... Blacet Research carries on

these are military grade racks & blacet oscillators are based on designs from old test radios. i wonder if you could find the racks through a wholesale distributor? i'm not really sure why you would use this rack size unless you had to. the aesthetic is nice though.

Re: Plumbutter 2 sync with Buchla

the oscillators are analog-digital so it won't work, but maybe the original paper circuits could be fitted for a buchla since there's no copyright on those yet

Re: what next for c-l?

i can make new paper circuits for these peter, if you get a hold of me; i made the originals at saic and enemy in chicago but had a friend be the middleman for part deliveries. i'm really impressed by how you've been able to replicate some of this stuff!

i'd remake the box in a plastic encasement wood has a low level of resistance which is why these are so quiet

Re: unknown paper circuit parts

the paper circuits were originally torn off old rat shak electronics, i'd remake them & cut new in acetate w/ magnetic paint inserts instead of die cut--you cld have a letterpress printer do this in a large possibly

Re: DEAD Cocoquantus BUFFERS

the originals had 1980s 1/4" jacks... maybe replace the jacks and get extra grounding off the base?

Re: New Buchla format sequencer from SSL

not sure why you would want a step on a synth with sequential circuit built into the oscillator, please explain. why not simply add on an 808 wagon?
