Re: Behringer System 55

Thanks for your detailed reply, that all makes sense. I will definitely have a think about that then, maybe even would only need to really think about modding a limited number of modules if any depending on how I get on with the sound out of the box.

Re: Behringer System 55

How doable would some of these mods be to someone who has no DIY experience? Been thinking about trying to put together a boog model 15 but would want to make these improvements!

Re: FLUX - Temporal Modulation Rhythm Sequencer

First patch with the FLUX. I'm using it to trigger and otherwise clock/cv the Soma Pulsar-23. https://youtu.be/XEcrbf8lp3g Jeez this is great! For some reason I really want to hear some jungle style samples triggered through this sequencer Thanks! Next in my list to try is the Erica Synths Sample D...

Re: FLUX - Temporal Modulation Rhythm Sequencer

As someone who has been looking for a polyrhythmic sequencer that actually makes interesting use of the possibilities this looks like one of the most best implementations I've seen. Most poly sequencers have a stiff feeling absent from various traditional polyrhythmic drum music, but this really has...

Re: Oberheim Xpander and modern analogue synths

Isn't part of the issue that polyphonic sounds don't tend to take being heavily processed and modulated in the same way that monos do, lots of complicated harmonics just get mushy and noisey with enough voices?

Re: Behringer System 55

3k3 is 3300. Yes it is. Point was, physics of the part ran out of gas about when when the timing did too. At about the point where you would expect grain size to affect selectivity, there it is in operation. I think of these posts as more of a white board than white paper. I tend to post first, and...

Re: Would you pay a yearly sub to join a gear lending library?

Yeah our libraries are even being gutted of their books... Vote against neoliberalism! I often wonder what people would say if libraries were a new idea "and who is going to PAY for all these books???" "my tax dollars going to provide freeloaders with information??! Pay for it like everyone else!!" ...

Best creative sampler vst

Hi, I'm on the hunt for the most flexible and creative sampling software. I'm interested in making music concrete style stuff in the vein of Jan Jelinek or maybe Wanda Group. Most of the software samplers I have tried seem to be for big multisampled instruments rather than manipulating sounds and ma...
