Re: Mutable Instruments Beads (Clouds 2)

All these people scrambling to get Beads- I feel slightly guilty that I just went "oh right" when someone told me that it was out, went to Signalsounds and ordered one. Apparently that was the exact right time, as it seemed to sell out shortly afterwards. I blundered into the Goldilocks zone. (Sign...

Playing percussion though Beads and nothing more. Just to demonstrate how beautiful it can sound (hopefully) https://youtu...

Any recommendations for the splitter cables that aren't too tight to each other?

Re: Mutable Instruments Blades

Have been looking for a new filter to sit with my Matriarch (already with an amazing stereo filter), now this has been added to the consideration list... Had been quite decided with QPas till now. Hmm... This makes me wonder if the inputs are normaled to one another. The mixer output from the Matri...

I think I have just seen my Xmas present to myself. That's if Monday's car service doesn't uncover any nasties . . .
Same boat.

Re: Mutable Instruments Blades

This is kinda off topic but I just wanted to find out if it's only me... For some reason I just dont really feel any attraction to mutable instruments' modules. Not sure what it is. Is it the aesthetic? The naming convention? The fact that their modules are everywhere and I am just being a hater? H...

Re: 1uO_c - 4Robots - Ornamnt and Crime for Intellijel 1u row

Just wondered what functionality the additional USB adapter give you? Is it just midi to CV directly from the USB MIDI on say the 7U Performance case? Edit - informed that when using hemisphere it acts as midi to cv, otherwise redundant in regular mode. Pre-ordered and looking forward to them being ...

Re: Moog Matriarch and Eurorack

Yes, I was doing this recently with Sinfonion sending the pitches. I don't have it patched that way right now, but if I recall correctly it didn't work until I set Paraphony to 1-voice mode. Seemed backwards but ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ it worked. That's cool , Great minds think alike . How do you like the Sinfon...

Re: Expert Sleepers FH-2 'factotum'

Sounds very much like the ideas I have for it, the Moog oscillators alongside some of that digital stuff as well.

Yeah, i'm very rarely finding questions people ask of it which come back with a "no-can-do!", that's always a good sign - MUST REMEMBER TO SAVE!!

Re: Expert Sleepers FH-2 'factotum'

Thanks a lot for the insight dude. Yeah, potential will make use of the cc control, not really sure what else in that regard... 3 note chords as in triggering 3 additional sound sources in your eurorack? I like the idea of being able to assign individual envelopes to each note in 4 voice mode - and ...

Re: Expert Sleepers FH-2 'factotum'

Is the Matriarch a USB host or device? Either way it should be fine if it's using class compliant USB MIDI. Thanks a lot for your help. The Matriarch would be the device, sending its MIDI data over its USB to the FH2 for CV. That sound ok? As far as class compliant, I'm not sure how to distinguish ...

Re: Expert Sleepers FH-2 'factotum'

Has anyone had experience of using the FH-2 alongside a Matriarch via USB MIDI? Thinking about it, and see no reason for any issues... Any thoughts/experience with it? If no experience directly with the Matriarch, could someone just confirm that there is nothing to say it wouldn't work as any other...

Re: Moog Matriarch and Eurorack

I have a Matriarch and just got a few modules to test the waters with eurorack. I just patch everything back into the Matriarch's VCA's. But what if I start getting other sound source modules like Rings or something - what's the best way to max all the signals together, without breaking the stereo ...

Re: Moog Matriarch and Eurorack

That's what I thought, I really like the idea of differing envelopes for each voice, especially when introducing more complex ones such as those from the Zadar. Yeah, I mean to be honest I like the thought of Eurorack being something maybe more organic than MIDI, so outside of using the Matriarchs m...

Re: Moog Matriarch and Eurorack

Yeah, this is why I ch...
