Which of the sounds?
At 0.18/0.19 seconds, sure you have the pad but suddenly appears this crazy little sound, it lasts 1 or 2 seconds

This sound? (Shine on you crazy diamond)

At 00.18/00.19 secs.

It always drived me crazy and always forgot to ask here. WTF is that? When I was very very young like elementary school Pink Floyd was my fav band so I asked my father, he replied it was the aliens :cthulhu:

Artists that mix electronic + acoustic instruments?

I'm looking for inspiration as I'm more and more in love with acoustic sounds and I was debating if it was worth for me keeping my arsenal of expensive modulars or move in another direction, a more "concrete" approach, looping and manipulating my saxophone, piano and upright bass with pedals and tap...

Dust Archive, a collection of ambient music

Dust Archive is an ambient music collection focused on investigating the concept of hauntology, saudade, nostalgia for something that never happened. The works we publish are metaphor of a present stuck between a past disrupted in dust and "a future that never came to pass". Like it was an actual ar...

Depends on how many inputs your audio interface have, if only 2 to achieve this Record 2-track jams to cassette Record 2-track jams to audio interface Record cassettes into audio interface All without repatching anything I'd go in series from a stereo out of the mixer to tape recorder, from out of t...

Umcorps

many thanks for the super detailed reply and the video, really appreciated. On paper sounds rather complicated for sure, especially in a live patching context. So.. there's always that Marble in Buchla format.. :hihi:

talking about ratcheting, in the instagram video by Jonathan Fitoussi how do you achieve it in the Easel? I don't think its possible on a raw Easel (though am ready to be contradicted on that) because its not easy to mix CVs. I've done a fairly basic ratchet patch on my Easel using the 208 Toolbox ...

Interesting topic indeed,

talking about ratcheting, in the instagram video by Jonathan Fitoussi how do you achieve it in the Easel? Always being fascinated about that rhythmic pace (very present in the album 5 Steps which I know was made with a bigger system).

The Grump many thanks for your reply, unfortunately I'm pretty sure it is not working: at audio rate, in the Coco itself, do not output audio signal at all, at LFO rate I see it has no effect. How is it made inside? Is the banana jack connected directly to the PCB or there's some wiring? I'm not ab...

Help needed: one castle stopped working (edited)

Hey people, bad surprise tonight while trying to trigger my Serge from the Quantussy, just discovered one of the grey outs do not output voltages. I'm sure it always worked flawlessly. :sadbanana: No diy skills, but I may find someone that can help if it's an easy fix like resoldering a joint. Is it...

Many thanks for the inputs! Cool stuff. The Tech 21 "Geddy Lee" thing in a stompbox does not look bad at all for my intentions of having something as small as possible, for what I hear it can go close to Yes/Motorpsycho tones with that box, and it's where I came from. ((The only thing I fear is that...

Fender Bassman 100 in a pedal?

Hello, I own a late sixties Bassman 100 I use since 15 years+, I'm on the process to start an adventure as a touring musician with a folk rock due/trio but the Bassman is impractical for transportation reasons, but I can't think about anything else with the dynamic saturation I love from my that par...
