Re: Fender Champion 600 + bass guitar

When you do get a bass amp, pay attention to the cabinet. You want a closed-back cabinet for deep, tight low end. Most bass specific cabs are closed-back, but not all. And just passing on the general advice to pay attention to the cab you get. The old portaflex tone for instance has a lot to do wit...

Re: Dust Archive, a collection of ambient music

Here we go with the hateful eight: https://dustarchive.bandcamp.com/album/d-a-008-a-d-2020 Item D.A. #008 - A.D. 2020 is an original BASF cardboard box including a magnetic tape and what appears to be the torn page of an agenda, the date is 6 of October, the year unknown: "Day 1 at 37°07′N 116°03′W....

Re: Advice on getting into BugBrand

You also mentioned that Coco’s outs can be fed into the filters — I’m guessing these are the grey plugs? Have you tried feeding in any of the quantussy oscillators as a sound source or LFO? Yes the grey banana is the output of the buffer, so only the recorded signal. And yes, grey and orange quantu...

Re: Advice on getting into BugBrand

Hi there :bugbrand: happy to help out, if I can, as I see we have similar taste, long time CocoQuantus user and very very keen to my BugBrand SynthVoice. At one point I also wanted to dive into the Plumbutter drama drum goodness but then I decided to buy a row of 4x4 Serge, for percussion duties and...

Re: Seeking sound examples of wavefolders in feedback paths

Djangosfire videos, especially the ones involving the wave multiplier, convinced me to dive into Serge, this is one of my explorations:

Re: Sequentix Cirklon

One being I really like the step repeat functions for rhythmic sequencing.. Hey Sinamsis, can you elaborate a bit please? Is it like the retrigger on the Elektrons where you can set the division value? Never stumbled across this function, sounds interesting, especially if you can modulate the divis...

Fender Champion 600 + bass guitar

Hey rockers :bananaguitar: I have this little Champion 600, 5 watt amp, cone is 6" - do you think is it possible to use it with a bass guitar or AM I going to blow the cone or something in a second? I have a Fender Bassman 100 too but it's a bit oversized for apartment practice. Thanks in advance! F...

https://dustarchive.bandcamp.com/album/d-a-007-a-d-2020 Some dusty and foggy ambient music, this is the 7th album we release as Dust Archive, there will be 12 for the 2020. This one was made recording a celtic harp and bowed double bass through a CocoQuantus + Red Panda Particle + OTO Machines pedal...

Re: I want to buy your album...

Here you have a good load of ambient music: Dust Archive is a collection, a magazine, a repertoire. A souvenir. The aesthetic reference is to be found in the sound of the magnetic tape, in that tape music that goes from the dawn of experimental music (Riley, La Monte Young), goes through the first d...

Re: Standalone alternative for Orgone Accumulator?

What about this Frac version, you can build a small 1 row system integrating with the excellent BugBrand stuff (some modulation/VCAs/LPG) + say a KeyStep

Re: Coco and OP-1?

Any word on how arnoux resolved this issue? Hey trax , the issue was never solved, I just live with it, it's like being in love with someone that sometimes shows odd behaviours. I noticed recently that if I plug my Mac (headphones out) to the Coco piezo in with a 1/8 mono jack the noise appears bas...

Thanks people,

can totally hear the delay yes, the sound does have a very strange tone tho :hmm: very "vocal" quality, never expected it could have being a guitar
