The current theory is that newer mimeophons suffer from this problem and older ones don't.

Pretty sure their stance is ‘it is what it is’. Probably not something that can be fixed with firmware is my guess. You just have to decide if you can live with the noise and glitches or move on. Here is a video. I have an external clock connected (without an external clock running there are no clicks) and the clicks appear when changing the rate of the skew. It's like the clock pulse bleeds through the module or something

I bought an old oscilloscope on the second hand market. I connect my modular to it mainly to enjoy the beautiful visual feedback on the vintage screen it has, but it also helps me understand what I'm doing better.
