Re: Seems a good time to share Serge patching ideas! Lets learn!

First thing which comes in mind is the PULSE DIVIDER can be used for audio. 1 audio signal at the input and at the output you'll get the different divided frequencies (you get of course a rectangle wave at the output). I found a wonderful very clear and high definition video I did which shows very c...

Re: DOBOZ TSNM -Program a sequence?

I can't post a video now (internet issue), so I hope this one helps. It shows at the begining how to assign notes. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C_YZ-IMCMZA And in this one you see how to make your own sequence and a few other functions: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ftVmpJmI7r0 EDIT: in this th...

I know it's been said already many times, but: - the Creature manual is great to start with and has very clear explanations. http://www.carbon111.com/serge/creature_manual.pdf - Also cool: http://www.serge-fans.com/wizardry.htm http://www.carbon111.com/serge.html - And of course going through patche...

Question about resistors on Music Thing Reverb rev2 [SOLVED]

When I look at the schematic from Music Thing Reverb rev2 I read: Values for R2 800Ω tank: R2 = 2k 150Ω tank: R2 = 470R Or use 10k trimmer. For larger input impedances, try a larger trimmer. R4 and R6 set recovery level R4 should be smaller than output coil impedance 2250/2575Ω: R4 = 22Ω R6 = 22K In...

It seems to be a JITAG to FPC converter.
But is nowhere to be found. Does anyone
have any idea where to find something?

Re: Buchla 261e Problem?

Which cable do I need to connect the Silabs Debugger to the Buchla modules? The Silabs comes with a JITAG cable which can be connect afaik to the 261e. I should have checked first on the 261e. The afaik was not enough. Misleading. Learning a lesson here. Anyway. Did the Easel come with a firmware c...

I have orderd a Sislab and will try to get a firmware reload done. Hope ist works. Is it sure, that I don’t need a spezial cable or adapter to connect the sislab to the 261e? It seems it doesnt have a 10 pin connector? This is how the port on 261e looks like. I see you edited your post. Also adding...

Hmm i always thought light on is playing sample and light off is recording (delay). :?

I think of recording as (to) "sample" the inputs (off). And playing sample as playback (on). But we're anyway talking about the same haha

I understand the "quality" of these things and love it... but the noise I have on the left is at "BATCHAS" level (the video above) the other buffer and my other unit is just "CL noisey". Means you don't use the DH then, not moving your hand or whatever near it, so the orange out remains at 0V, is this what you mean? I'm intrigued. good point... maybe i´ll cut off the antenna ?! I don't know. It's just that moving the hand near the antenna produces a signal up to +9V at the orange o...

it´s possible to use the orange on the DH also as an input for the DH Well. This is not the first thing I'd have thought of to sync my plumbutter as the orange banana outputs up to +9V. But ok... Means you don't use the DH then, not moving your hand or whatever near it, so the orange out remains at...
