Re: Radio Music SD Card Buzzing/Noise problem possible fix

I found out that alternative firmwares work fine, even the fw before 7.1 You mention the alt. firmwares work fine, but pers. I don't know any alt. firmware on the RM which plays a sample from the SD Card and enables pitch modulation. I know only the ones where the sound is generated via code, not b...

Re: RLPG Fiesta (Serge RingMod, ResEQ, SWAMP...)

Is this the same LPG used in the RS DONKS 4x4 module? I think in these videos I only used the Resonant LPG (T. White boards) . I made the Timbral Gate (left from RLPG) with the Plan B boards , but it's not patched here. Not sure it's this one in the R*S module which I don't have to compare. Thanx f...

Re: Any compact mixer like this, but not Behringer?

Mackie 1202VLZ4 :) I have one for sale if you're interested! Dimensions: 303 x 75 x 284 mm I saw Mackie, Yamaha and so on, but all go over 27cm, 30cm etc. I have already 30 cm mixer with 16 channels, aux/sends etc etc. I wish I could find a smaller one. I need: • Size like the Behringer one is good...

Re: Frying Teensy on Orgone Accumulator DIY v1 first version: any clue?

The last few days I remarked that the faulty Teensy does not always act the same when it is powered (makes it even more difficult for me to troubelshoot). Sometimes the LED in the back of the Teensy will be fully lighten (+3V at pin 13), most of time it is dimmed (+1.7V). But LM4040 and 7805 output ...

Re: Frying Teensy on Orgone Accumulator DIY v1 first version: any clue?

That should of been info provided in the first post. Yes. Mea culpa. I tested first without reflashing the Teensy, as only one LED was on and the rest remained static. By reflashing it I noticed it acted differently. Like shown on the video. A bit different everytime it's flahed. Like LEDs are dimm...

Any compact mixer like this, but not Behringer?

I'm looking for a small mixer like this one , but not Behringer. I could not find :( The small size matters here. I saw Mackie, Yamaha and so on, but all go over 27cm, 30cm etc. I have already 30 cm mixer with 16 channels, aux/sends etc etc. I wish I could find a smaller one. I need: • Size like the...

Re: Frying Teensy on Orgone Accumulator DIY v1 first version: any clue?

Something I didn't mention which I really should have. Actually I still can flash the Teensy and on the Orgone I still can change/select presets/effects. LEDs work fine. But all pots are like stucked in one position. Only the TUNE pot and the OSC A pot react, but act like having 3 positions only. He...

Re: Frying Teensy on Orgone Accumulator DIY v1 first version: any clue?

The friend mentionned he had already issues with monitor speakers burned 2 times, because of high voltage in the audio path according to his tech. I wonder why it would kill the Teensy on the Orgone DIY v1 and not the Teensy on the Radio Music which is in the same case (hence my uestion about how to...

Re: Frying Teensy on Orgone Accumulator DIY v1 first version: any clue?

I looked again at the values like recommended. I made a beginner's mistake. The scope reads 698mV when nothing is measured (I don't even know how to set to 0 - a beginner after all! It's grounded and everything, but it's never 0). Very stupid I didn't check first where the scope is starting before p...

Re: Frying Teensy on Orgone Accumulator DIY v1 first version: any clue?

check your LM4040 to make sure it is a LM4040-3. check to make sure the 5v from the eurorack bus board is not connected to the output of the 7805. if your 7805 is 5.7 that is %14 error. this happens when you connect the output of a 7805 to the output of another 7805. the 3v reference is everywhere....

Thx cygmu :tu: It should be easier to get help about the issue I mentioned. Crossing fingers. I'm not too familiar with Teensy - but I think it's a 3v3 MCU p...

I cannot promise I'll make a manual for v1. I'll try asap to make a video showing all functions and post from the city where there's good internet connection.
Here's the video for DIY v1 version:

Re: Do you know what could fry the Teensy?

Thanx for the suggestion :tu: No USB in the game, just powering the Orgone Accumulator normally. Instead of -12V/0V/+12V, powered by -15V/0V/+15V PSU, but myself I use it like this and never had any issue. Since 2 friends had the same issue with their DIY Orgone v1, I am wondering if the circuit on ...

Re: DIY Mutable Unsuccessful Builds

The other four LEDs do nothing and the two switches also do nothing. Could having the LED in the switch backwards fry a portion of the STM? I didn't mention it cause I thought I did read in one of your previous thread that the LEDs were all ok, but after reading your last post, sharing now here an ...

Frying Teensy on Orgone Accumulator DIY v1 first version: any clue?

EDIT : Adding the edit here at the begining of the thread as it's important to know. The Teensy is not completely dead. Re: DIY Mutable Unsuccessful Builds

I feel like the chip flashed successfully, but at the same time it's acting like the STM isn't even there. Could this be a bad shift register? Bad codec chip? I just don't get it. I think "verified 168912 bytes in 3.311236s (49.816 KiB/s)" is the proof that it was flashed correctly. C5 doesn't look...

’m using the manual from Neutron’s site and there is one thing I’m confused about. Is the black Shape button the equivalent of the Lock button on the Neutron / WMD version? Is it possible to run in “Pulsar mode”?
Yes. It is pulsar on the MK2.

Re: DIY Mutable Unsuccessful Builds

@arthurdent : I don’t know the orientation of diode, ICs etc, but I guess this is the first thing you checked. I’m aware you checked for continuity, but maybe as you need to have contact with the component to check it, very little pressure is applied on the component, so it shows all is ok while act...
