I feel like you're fucking with me, but I'm so far out of the loop that I'm not sure what to make of that.

So, is BEMI still a mess?

Been procrastinating for a long time on getting my 225e upgraded, mostly because it seemed like they couldn't get their shit together and I didn't want to risk sending anything to them. I've been out of the loop for a while.. what's the current situation? Is it worth the risk, or am I better off jus...

You updating to v30? I've been putting it off for a long time, mainly because I really don't want to have to send anything to BEMI.

Your guide probably just sold at least one of these for Mutable Instruments. Been away/busy with life for a while and this is the first thing that actually got me curious about this module. Nicely done.

You can still get it via archive.org if you need to access something while they figure things out. Bah, just copy and paste this, apparently the forum doesn't like the link: https://web.archive.org/web/*/http://www.buchla.com Looks like this is the last good snapshot before it went to hell... https:...

Buchla 200e elitism is a means by which a privilege once reserved for a few douchey academics can now be extended to the many . ( not everyone! - most ugly fat doods like us are into sports - not ghay art fhag musicks - and I don't want to like the same shit as them anyway- i hate sports) That made...

I'm not saying he did or didn't but I have buffered mults in my Synton system from 1984. Was he responsible for those?
Peter invented Synton before Synton was cool.

Glad someone did this. I've been eyeing some available retail space in my neighborhood for a while, but my other job keeps me way too busy to even consider it at the moment.

Might have to go check it out this weekend. :tu:

Interesting...

I inquired a few years ago about a 6 module system and never heard back, but it's entirely possible that gmail dumped a response in my junk folder, so who knows. :despair:

Hate to break it to you guys, but this was bound to happen. BEMI is after profits. In order to get those, they're going to have to start pandering to idiots. Idiots suck, but there are more of them than there are of you, and they constantly buy shit they don't need. In order to gain that audience, t...

Awesome to see them back to designing new stuff instead of rehashing old designs. Can't wait to try one of these out.

I hope whatever this new 2-panel thing is, is actually something new, and not another reissue. The Easel made sense, but now I really want to see Don do what he does best instead of revisiting old designs.

Hope you all get your Easels soon... sounds like things are finally moving a little.

Just got/paid the invoice for a few modules I ordered from the sale. E-mail said they were "ready to ship", which is kind of a shock, but hopefully they prove my assumptions about lead times wrong :tu:

I sure wish my customers would make ridiculous excuses for me. "Oh, he delivered 9 months late, and only half of what we ordered at that... can't get a hold of anyone over there, either. It's a small company though... we should just be patient and thank them for letting us give them our money." "OMG...

If you're looking for an analog modular, you might want to do a little more research on what the 200e system actually is before going into debt to buy one :omg:
