I think there is a repeated waveform reset cycling on the Xpander and Matrix 12 why it sounds more towards DCO's and this is what i have been told (has to be verified).
In any case they do not sound more 'vco' then the dco's from the Schmidt

Re: Schmidt Eight Voice Analog Synth
If you wondered how many times they said, "no-expense-spared", it's four :foul: $24,000 for any synth, let alone a DCO synth? yeah, no Better then a two DCO Matrix 12 @ 10k  ,i tell you! Would love to know more about this M-12 with DCOs--I'm only aware of the one with VCOs. You have to ask...

Re: Moog Memorymoog sucessfully cloned
Hi! I see no problem sharing files such as PCB layouts, CAD drawings, etc. Just keep in mind that I cannot guarantee they are error free, this is an experimental project and due to its sheer complexity, I may have made mistakes. Basically i read this like you never updated your files with all the n...

Re: LinnDrum LM-2 clone in progress
Well,well,..that's is cool,...but its the LM-1 you should have chosen.
An LM-1 clone you will be able to exploit it to the max and sell much easier (also to collectors!) VS the 'less desirable' LM-2.

Re: Buchla format cases | cables | knobs | PCBs & panels
New additions to the Buchla format panel family: 230 245 258 PCBs will be available soon. In about a week I will also have 248 MARF Expander panels / PCBs and 295 panels/PCB in stock. The MARF Expander now also works with rev2 - thanks to the guys who fixed the FW and brought it to a new level :sb:...

Re: A "new" Buchla 265!
My comment stems from a phone call i made to Don to ask about re-making one if his older modules. True to form, his first reply was "Why would you want to do that?" The ensuing conversation made clear he was about doing something new vs re-doing something old. We talked awhile, during which he said...

Be careful with SSM2056 (and SSM2050) when you use the ADSR CV controls inputs at the same time.
Best not to use for diy project unless you have a big stock of them.
