Re: New Syncussion with MIDI and Silent power - VIDEOS

ok, my apologies. i missed this bit from your original post:
When the CV/pitch cable between BSP and SY-1M is connected, manually triggering the SY-1M also leads to 'click'-'bonk'.
it still makes sense to probe with an oscilloscope, but in this case further down the line (inside the Syncussion)

Re: New Syncussion with MIDI and Silent power - VIDEOS

So why did you quote that bit with the pitch control then? Just get over it an measure the gate outputs of the SQ-1 and the BSP with an oscilloscope and post the results. That should shed some light on the issue...

Re: New Syncussion with MIDI and Silent power - VIDEOS

What do you mean by "constant"? A drum trigger gate is supposed to be a fast rising and typically very short signal (~2-10 ms long). Also, I didn't use the drum gates but one of the melodic sequencers since I used the Syncussion for marimba-like melodic lines, i.e. I used pitch control as well. So ...

Hello Wigglers, I just restored and cleaned up the original photo build manual for V1 from an archive.org backup. Maybe it's useful to some of you:

Re: TTSH NOISE MISTAKE? R2 missing

KSS, thanks for putting this out there. thanks for this. it's missing on the v1 schematics, too. someone proposed to fix the issue by adding a 10K resistor between the emitter of Q1 and the 1uF cap rather than from pin 2 of Z1 to ground... that's what my notes say, at least. Roglok, is your fix for...

Re: [4U] Outsie, a basic output utility

Looks nice, hox3D! Always curious about the layout choices different designers make. How did you decide to put Right below Left? I've tended to equate L eft with L ower, and R ight with R ise. looking at mixers, hi-fi systems etc. it seems like a de-facto standard and probably has to do with Wester...

Little passive DIN Sync adapter/mult box. Write-up here: https://navsmodularlab.blogspot.com/2020/03/diy-trigger-to-din-sync-box.html 03_dinsync-box.jpg that's cool. how is your typical DIN Sync input designed in terms of input protection? maybe an active solution clamping signals to 5V makes sense...

Re: LMNC MS-20 filter help

EDIT: Unless you pulled off a stunt on the underside of the PCB, there are quite a few problems. Just because your stripboards ends in row 25 doesn't mean you can move some components up a notch and expect them to work. The most glaring issue is that the LM13700 sits one row too high but i...
