Just ran across the netzine site Brutal Resonance. It appears that lots of industrial subgenres and artists are covered there. Looking forward to checking out some new stuff!

Thanks to the op for the heads up! I've been aware of this app for years and finally picked it up. Now I see why people mention this so often as a favorite ios audio app. Fucking brilliant!

Someone talk me out of buying this thing, I already have a ER-301 and a Morpheus. I have big ideas for this module.
You really should buy it. It pairs great with the Morpheus. The ER-301 is for nerds.

Re: I got it mastered and now I hate it

When I work with a client, I discuss what they're after sonically, if they have any reference tracks of other artists mixes that they like, how loud they want the finished product, what is the target media, etc. Current standards are pretty fucking loud. CD for example is -9 LUFS. A good mastering e...

Yes, we are aware of the click that occurs when triggering EXCITE. The firmware update should be completed soon, as our engineers are worki...

Re: Sooooo frustrated with threaded strips

I have had to rotate threaded strips 180 degrees to get them to line up properly due to imprecision on the cut, which is admittedly annoying but it's a one-time thing. Can you explain more what you mean by this? You're talking about moving the rails side to side until they're positioned as you say?...

I just got a load of stuff:

Elektron Rytm mk.2
Vermona DRM mk.3
Dreadbox Erebus
Digitone keys

Can’t wait to play with it all!
That's quite a kit! You'll never want to leave the house. The DRM is a cool machine. Enjoy!

Re: ALM Squid Salmple - 8 channel CV and audio sampler

Are there any custom cue sets people have made that they are sharing? Not sure if there is already some place for that similar to how people share reels for the Morphagene on freesound.org. Watch this space... I heard there was a magician who could turn morphagene reels into banks for the squid 🦑.....

Re: How many euro Sequencers is too many?

I’m a bit of a sequencer junky.

In euro:

Nerdseq
Varigate 8+
Voltage Block
Mimetic Digitalis
Varigate 4

Other:

Cirklon
Octatrack
Ableton Live

I like the different feel and workflow each offers.

Re: Behringer Pro-One

Does glide work via CV on the original Pro One? According to the manual, glide is attached to Keyboard cv on the original Pro One. So, doesn't seem like it would work via external cv. Screen Shot 2020-02-20 at 4.20.33 PM.png It does appear to be the case which indicates that it's likely a feature n...

Re: Subcon SY-1

I've been waiting with bated breath for the Brap SY-1 as well. Perhaps they're gauging interest before committing to production. I keep wondering if the delay was planned as a modular PCM 42, old-school SP style. That would be bananas. I’d absolutely skip a student loan payment or two to order that...

Re: Why are people selling Mutable Instruments?

Add to that people who are just selling to get a smaller or more full featured version of a module they are already satisfied with, and I don’t think you can make any conclusions whatsoever. Yep, stuff like Monsoon with extra controls (as nice sliders) can actually be more usable in a smaller footp...

I recently picked one up and like Tumulishroomaroom, was also pleasantly surprised at how well the single knob design works. I agree that it's not ideal for opening vcas (5 volt afaik) but great for all around modulation duties. Oh, and mine is also black.

I got this set and it's perfect for both kinds of eurorack nuts (hex and round). https://www.exploding-shed.com/shop-catalogue/various/ This set looks great. It appears that they may not ship to the US. The US is not listed as an option in the shipping country drop-down. How did you obtain this kit?
