Re: Subcon SY-1

This is like the syncussion from the other side... It looks like it has all the parameters from the original/clones but sounds very different. Wonder if it also can sound normal or if the distortion is built in?

Re: OPERA ROTAS, a DIY mutant drum machine

It sold 9 units in a 15 min timeframe. There are still 5 PCBs left but I have run out of pots, so Im waiting for the pots to arrive. I'm also intrigued by the sounds and mystery of this thing. Does the machine record the knob movements? Like parameter locks

SUT HEKSENS NEGL - optocoupling eurorack interface for circuit bent gear

Hi! I spent some quarantine days designing my first module - SAMVÆR UNDER TILSÜN HEKSENS NEGL  Heksens Negl has 8 identical optocoupler circuits that lets you interface external button presses safely with your eurorack. If you are into circuit bending this is a very practical way of controlli...

Wonder if they will update the HORRIBLE looking panel? Maybe getting a proper designer to make something that reflects the price tag?

Does anybody happen to have a manual for this module?
Don't think that exist. Write one?

(There probably is one for the Pearl Syncussion though)

Unfortunately the module does this all by itself 🙀
haha what do you mean? you've had issues with clock instability with this module?
the module has a clock that fluctuates under certain conditions

Wow- what a nice attention to detail in all steps of this project - it just looks fantastic and from what I've tested so far the interface is great too! Congratulations with a super module RYK! I also second the suggestion of making the black jack nuts available separately, would compliment alot of ...

Could somebody pls post the BOM? Dead dropbox-link on the documentation page atm.
Hello

Sorry, I was doing some site maintenance.

All the docs should be back up now.
The document labelling and versioning is now more ralionalised acording to PCB versions.

Re: intellijel Hex VCA

I'm borrowing the Intellijel Hex VCA from a friend at the moment. I notice that even with the knobs turned fully down I can still hear signal when I have an oscillator plugged directly in. Is that pretty normal for this vca? Mine was like that too, but I think there are trimmers on the back to cali...

Re: Computer keyboard to midi controller conversion

I recently bought one of these from a DIY builder; it's an isometric layout which mimics guitar/bass string layout with fret markers. Class compliant MIDI via mini USB. The best part? You can play multiple notes on one "string" now. :hihi: This is much easier for me to arrange/play on than a keyboa...

Re: Computer keyboard to midi controller conversion

I've been wanting a blackbox that does this for years! It would be amazing to be able to create custom keymaps, so you could arrange the notes any which way across the keyboard. Exactly! I want a keyboard to be a midi device that I can plug into my eurorack and other gear. (I'm fully aware that the...

I'm looking into converting a mechanical keyboard to a midi controller or building a keyboard from scratch, Does anyone of you have any good experiences with this? QMK does support MIDI, but I'm looking for a good tutorial on how to setup. :help:

Re: PCBs as Front Panels ?

Make sure you have some play in your hole size. I made my tolerances too tight and ended up having to drill them out a bit. Fortunately they drilled out nice and didnt mess up the the solder mask. What does that mean in 0.1 mms? Please input your normal hole tolerance values for jacks and potentiom...
