Re: NI Maschine+ standalone groovebox
I other news , I can’t believe we have this much power in a stand alone unit at last. Just loaded monark with about 10 effects and only hitting 30% cpu. I know they are cpu friendly effects on here, but they still sound excellent to me , despite what Stimming says , I always liked them on the origin...

Re: NI Maschine+ standalone groovebox
I caved , I’m still keeping my mc707 because I enjoy it so much. Had the first maschine , but the lock states is what sold me. Anybody know if it will stream audio from an iPad like the mc707, certainly not a deal breaker, but would be cool. It’s super solid build the encoders have no wiggle they fe...

Re: Vermona DRM1 MKIII --> MKIV ?
I’m down with the ‘if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it’ vibe tbh. They clearly do a lot always at high quality and excellent customer service has been my experience. I enjoy that there are companies about that seem to really care about build and service, call me old fashioned. It’s not like there aren’t...

Re: Akai MPC One
Ty , anybody know a good video with the on board fx demonstrated ? There are quite many. Haven't seen one video covering them all. Are you interested in anything specific? There wasn’t many last time I looked , but yr right I found a few good ones. The effects seem fine. As long as it has usable re...

Re: Audiointerfaces with lots of inputs
16a here , very happy , virtual patching and iPad control. Not so happy with how long it’s taking to get drivers out.
Still none for Big Sur
For a cheaper option I would probably go Roland

16x 10, in some ways I wish I had of.

Re: Akai MPC One
Can somebody confirm if the One can send and receive class compliant audio ?
I can stream from my iPad to my mc707 , but only the master and haven’t been able to do send and return at the same time with it.
Was hoping the MPC could ?

Re: What new booty did you buy?
Just received a soundcraft mtk 22, bye bye DAW !! The MTK is designed to be used with a DAW though, it's great to use plugs in the insert chain. But unfortunately mine already has a bunch of faults. Yes I'm finding that out first hand. I'm thinking of switching for a soundcraft fx16ii or sth with d...

Re: Anybody got an MC and a Fantom ?
I have had the first maschine , but got fed up because it was dumping my files everywhere, it did consolidate, but there was a bug for me at least. I get you though , the standard machine is way more powerful obviously, but I want something that doesn’t make me have to go into my daw. At the moment ...

Re: Anybody got an MC and a Fantom ?
Ty, yes I was looking at getting the integra at one point , but I’m leaning towards the fantom and using it as a larger Groovebox tbh. I’d miss the sampling on the integra. I was looking at the fantom because it has more sample memory and multi sampling, but also includes the Zencore that my 707 has...

Anybody got an MC and a Fantom ?
The Fantom seems great for what it is , obviously there is a lot of overlap as far as V.A. goes, but has anybody got any input on real use of the fantoms sequencer ? I like the MC707 it’s fast intuitive and surprisingly easy to edit once you know all it’s deeper function , which are basically just i...

The thing that put me off a lot of the aira stuff and my 1m was the tiny knobs, which made them very sensitive to change , the scaling just felt off.
How have they aged ?

Re: New Stand-Alone MPC
Anybody got maschine + as well , I know there are comparisons on YouTube , loopop etc but I’d appreciate an opinion here.
I’m leaning towards maschine at the moment , just seems like a more simplistic workflow , but the stability issues are really putting me off.

Did the latest iOS update brake your sound cards ?
My mc707 is class compliant and have been using it to record into AUM.
Today I can receive audio , but can not send it. Tried with other apps , AudioShare etc. Anybody else seen a change since last update ? 14.4

Re: How is the sound of Elektron Analog Rytm?
The best drum machine I’ve used so far is Sugarbytes drum computer , it has everything! I know it’s not hardware , but I just sample it with my mc707. This and koala (for its great chopping) kind of render hardware drum machines useless for me. Even going to get rid of my nord drum which is an amazi...

Sabrent seem to be decent , they are my go to, but never tried one of their powered hubs.
I had a belkin in powered and that had the high pitch whine too.
May get this one

Re: IOS editors with pencil tool ?
WavePad has an automated Depop cleanup tool , or I think you can set a manual threshold. Haven’t tried it out, I doubt its a replacement for redrawing the waveform. Be great if there was a dedicated one that you could use Apple Pencil with.
