I'd advise drilling the smallest holes you can get away with - you don't need giant ones like in that picture. And that hole in the middle - don't do that. Oh yea - that engine noise is excellent, although I'm not sure others who may not be motorheads would agree. 4:30 is really sweet! I wonder if these could be wired up as a controller. Maybe put hall effect sensors in each tooth, with an opposing magnet. Then your synth could be played whilst you sing!
