Apparently they ended up with a lot of bad chips in those, along with some good ones. I had one of the good ones and enjoyed it while I had it, but I'd be wary of buying one off the used market these days.

What type of dub sound are you going for? Classic roots stuff, 80's Sold Gold(tm) stuff, Pole-type stuff? So many ways to approach dub.

One advantage of the 4ms modules is the absence of programming. For me at least, the fewer modules with programming modes in my system, the easier it is for me to use. A second advantage is the option to add the QPLFO, QCD, etc. to the system.

Love the Synthwerks modules for human interfacing.
