Re: ARCANE A Generative Chiptune FM Drum Synth
First +1 for spherical sound is cool and interesting ...,so you either need something like 8-16 CVs or some kind of macros to make any sense of it. For ome of the headz around (incl. me) this would actually be more appealing than off-putting to have so many CVs. Maybe as option? OTOH, I will get thi...

Re: Vermona filter lancet vs Ekdahl moisturizer
both are excellent devices in sound and use. They make a big difference in a minimal setup, I played them live, in rehearsal room, etc. confuse situations, both rugged enough, both with good interface/layout, ekdahl has the external spring thing going, I had Lancet much longer and like it a little bi...

In "The Great Orchestra Of Animals" (you should read it if you haven´t) Bernie Krause describes a holy place of American Natives, where, on certain metereological occasions, the wind turns a field of winter-broken reed plants into a giant natural organ. This is understood by that tribe as an origin ...

Gotta say, the way the OP was bashed for asking a naive question (next level stable genius, obvious troll, etc.),
you guys don´t rock, nope. If the question was so stupid how come this is page 3?
Maybe it´s just important for me. Now go on creating your coolio content.

This is not so much a total standalone, but anything you put through it will sound wonderful, or just put it in the fb loop of a matrix mixer
and hear yourself!

Diff.amps miss one resistor!
-Every other tap should be inverted (you could add a second sum. amp in series to the first and feed the taps accordingly)
-Sum input signal too, to get 4 Pole HP and BP

Just an idea, you probably checked already:
Does the waveform of the bleedthrough change with the wf put into the multiplier?
If not, is the multiplier 0V reference free of currents from the oscillator?

Re: polyfusion spring reverb
Assuming the 1k is on the emitter not the collector of the 2nd transistor... ;) I think the 3094 is only used for it´s current driving capabilities, the transconductance part (current output) not being used, so you could get rid of the 13700 and stuff and put anything with the same or better drive t...

Re: polyfusion spring reverb
Sorry, hard to understand your modifications, could you draw it up? With spring input-z of 1k4 (you are using such a spring, right? Because lower in-z would make a difference!) and the circuit not an 1:1 clone, why not just use an NE5534 as driver? Are you driving the spring not hard enough (the out...

Re: Something New from Doc Sketchy
Ok, so after seeing the videos I´m positive I need one of these in my life. The one module I always wanted, but couldn´t figure out myself. 450$ is sensationally low price imo, yet I can´t even afford that at the moment, so if you´d make pcbs available I´d take a set, 4U preferred. But 5U will suffi...

Re: Higher end/vintage small mixers
One thing I don´t get (in the true spirit of blockheadedness) Maybe I´m out of touch with reality, but what are you needing high class transformer coupled vintage 150 ohm mic preamps for when you´re mixing synthesizers? Hats off to you if you say "colour", Trident80B goes for up to 20k 8 channel Sou...

Re: "Get lost in the sounds of YouTube’s growing ambient modular synth community"
Ok, I´m not especially touchy, just wanted an explanation. Not that it ultimately matters, but I tend to classify creatives into two broad classes. Creators and performers. I don't hold either one higher than the other, and I do see a vast differeence in the way each type approaches their artistic e...

Re: "Get lost in the sounds of YouTube’s growing ambient modular synth community"
By that metric, Picasso is an entertainer. You think Picasso was mainly motivated by fame and money? Or did you miss my point? And do you think being an entertainer is something worse than being an artist? Along with Buchla, Moog, Pearlman,... Well tose guys, I guess, had probably winced at being c...

Re: "Get lost in the sounds of YouTube’s growing ambient modular synth community"
Try it! Don´t fixate on labels imo! There´s good and bad music only (even that is subjective to a point, which is located somewhere around Gangnam Style). You probably knew that already  And don´t forget the consoling beacon of all artists: Van Gogh never sold a painting in his lifetime (maybe...
