Does the Minilog xd transmit microtonal midi out when custom scales are selected?

Re: DIY midi mute?

Ah yeah I see the complications now!

It was for routing a master keyboard to synth 1 or 2 or both. I mean I can just plug in or out the cables but a little switch would be better for performance.

A micro controller project would be fun I suppose because I could do some other cool stuff.

Thanks!

DIY midi mute?

I need a couple of very basic (and cheap) midi mute boxes. I’m a total noob but can solder. Would this be as simple as a breadboard + midi inputs and outputs plus some kind of switch?

Cheers

Re: Synth with best* internal sequencing?

Thanks for the input everyone! the elektron boxes do seem to have great sequencing but are all just a bit too expensive for me. I also do really favor something with some kind of keyboard (though im not expecting the key on the XD to be great). The pro 3 looks insanely good but yeah way out of my bu...

Synth with best* internal sequencing?

Hi everone, hope you are well. I know I know, best is subjective so here is where i'm coming from: I'm 90% convinced I'm going to get a minilogue XD as the center of a computer free live rig (also including a nord micromodular plus bcr2000 for extra control, and a stage Piano) but wanted to be sure ...

Re: Nord Modular thread

Hi everyone, hope you're well.

I'm thinking about trying to implement some of the moog subharmonicon's approach to sequencing on my micro modular. any thoughts/tips before i dive in?

i sometimes do that and im using the editor on a pc. if you accidentally double click something it sets it to whatever morph group you have selected in the tool bar.

The fusion-IR approach taken in reverberate 2 is quite interesting. I've been building something similar in max. Could anyone explain to me what an all-pass interpolator chorus is?

I use Max as a sort of hub for my techno live set - i have a few bits of hardware and a use a few vsts inside max as well. I do it in max because (a) its what i have - i've used it for years for various things and (b) its great at making things talk to each other and sort of translating any weird is...
