Re: ARP 1601 clone Build Thread

It's not clear to me which thing you're calling the clock. The behavior you're showing/describing looks like the inverse of TP13? Sorry - I'm talking about the clock input (pin 1) to Z25 (CD4024). BTW have you walked through the service manual test points? It would be helpful to know what each of t...

just built mine and it worked on first start. amazing little module. one odd thing is that in triple tuner mode when I measure IN1 it also shows the frequency as T. Not quite the same but very close, probably because T goes through the transistor and not the op amp. If I plug something else into T i...

EDIT got it sorted out :yay: one of the 2n5087 was installed backwards Just built my Rev 3 and so far everything works except for the 4072 filter. The 4012 lawsuit filter works perfectly. I did install the missing trace on the 4072 but that didn't help. All components are there except for 2 transis...

The BOM doesn't include the 20N/22N caps in the S/H section. Is there a reason or just an error? It also looks like some people used Film and some used C0G caps for this. Does it matter?

In the amplifier section (here) there's a spot for 1u with a MLCC cap footprint. Do I put a 100n there?

I've been trying to get my clouds up and running via the ST-Link. I flashed the bootloader.hex file and the clouds.hex file, these are confirmed working in the ST-Link utility software, but It doesn't seem to work. The LEDs light up differently and in a different color with every reset. Any help or...

This is the most appropriate thread I've found so far...I'm closing in on an unsuccessful build for a Tides. I picked up a tides 3.0 PCB from magpie only to find the main Mutable git hub seems to only have the BOM for 4.0 and change log, and Im not getting a response from Magpie. I'm hoping someone...

I have a Clouds that I can only get to work under a certain condition. When I power up the module normally all 4 LEDs are solid yellow immediately. Board is fully populated. I can't flash the STM or anything at that point. Pushing any of the buttons has no effect. I found out that when I plug in th...

Ok so I'm about to pull the trigger on a rev 3. Went through the mouser cart posted by LED-man and noticed some stuff that where either not available anymore or had minimum order quantity: would anyone be so kind and verify that these replacements are good? See below list https://docs.google.com/sp...

The output.txt looks fine. I don't think you have any flashing issues. I would look around the middle TL072, DAC and everywhere around the bottom right side of the board. That's where the output is handled.

i would recommend 10 to start with. for basic stuff 4,5 is enough but as soon as you get the vca and the s/h involved you'll use at least 3 for each of those
