Yes. I got one (the black) from Musikhaus Korn just before Christmas 2020.

Re: Uses for 3 envelopes?
^ Sorry: I did read that you had a Rev 2. Prophet 08 modulation destinations is on page 36 in the manual.
Another classical use: LFO amount modulation. For instance delayed vibrato.

Modulate oscillator 1 frequency while oscillator 1 is being hard synced by oscillator 2.
Modulate oscillator shape (PWM).

The Q147 Distributor sends a 5V signal from output 4 if nothing is send to input.

Re: Sequential OB6 and P6 get MPE and P5/10 style 'vintage' function
Did the update using MIDI, M-audio uno, windows laptop and MIDI-OX. First time didn't work, MIDI-OX complained about lack of memory. Restarted laptop and the it worked :-)
Now I'm on vintage, no slop here

Re: Sequential OB6 and P6 get MPE and P5/10 style 'vintage' function
Two questions (haven't done the update yet): 1. Is the vintage related to MPE at all? I guess no but it's not clear to me. Only connection is they are in the same OS upgrade. I really know nothing about MPE (should I - I do not use external gear/DAW to control my Prophet-6?). 2. As vintage is a glob...

You can simulate the vintage behaviour with the gated sequencer: http://www.voicecomponentmodeling.com/Voltcontrol wrote: ↑Wed Jan 06, 2021 2:52 pmP.s. Can or will ‘vintage’ be added to the Rev2 as well? That might just benefit a lot from it!

Re: STG Time Modules
Bumping this old thread. A few years ago I managed to get a Time Suite with a Time Buffer, 3 Trigger Mini-Store, a Shift Manager and a Time Divider (wonderful name :hihi: ). All from noisebug btw. However as I had no DIN/Sync source I asked Suit & Tie Guy if he could do a modified Time Buffer and so...

Re: Best Fixed Filter Bank?
Q127VCA.jpg Yeah, you can tap the output either from the FFB output or from the mixer output. I don't think it matters too much which one you choose. I didn't even use a multiple, just a Y-splitter like this one: I was just wondering if it is possible to modify the dotcom ffb to integrate the feedb...

Re: Klaus Schulze-like musicians
Mark Shreeve (of Redshift) made some Schulze like albums early in his career. I've got "Thoughts Of War" from 1981 which IMO is more Schulze than Tangerine Dream.

Re: MOON 568 Gate-Trigger SEQ Questions
This looks like a fabulous module. Unfortunately I haven't been able to find the answers to a few pretty basic questions about it. So in addition to asking anyone who has one if it really is as nice and useful as it appears to be, 1- What is the range of the internal clock? 2- What is the range of ...

Re: FM synthesis - Essential non-pop records
I believe Brian Enos Apollo is mainly DX7 and some processed guitar by Daniel Lanois.
Ambient/New Age music composer David Parsons did use FM synth at some time. I use to have a lot of his records, but now just Dorje Ling. He used Yamaha TG77 here.

Re: Simple DI box question
Thank you :tu: Yes connecting directly to the line inputs works. No need for the DI box. And yes, it is probably not the highest quality mixer, but I haven't found a similar small 12 channel rack mixer with inserts on most channels. So far I'm living with its limitations. Internal effects are actual...

Re: Simple DI box question
I should perhaps add the the DI box is just beneath the mixer in a rack and the XLR cables connecting the DI box output to the mixer is very short (50 cm). Perhaps another indication, that the DI box is overkill?

Simple DI box question
OK this is a simple question (and might all ready have been answered :hmm: ). Actually three questions. I dicided to try a DI box for converting unbalanced outputs from my modular to balanced to the mixer. Question 1: Is is overkill? The modular is next to the mixer. The mixer (rack mixer, Behringer...

Re: Need a boring module - cv shifter
I got a 110 U system (plus a 8U table top and a 8U rack) if that is considered large ;) However, I don't have the big need for attenuating and offsetting as most of my modules are well behaved: VCO and LFO from dotcom and Corsynth is -5 to 5 V, so is my noise and sample & hold (dotcom) and envelopes...

Re: Need a boring module - cv shifter
Quad CV shifter - you mean 4 units that all can attenuate and shift (add offset), so your bipolar +/- 10V signal to unipolar 0-5 V (or 0-10 V). Not sure it exists. stg soundlabs active attenuator, http://www.stgsoundlabs.com/products/attenuators_mu.htm , will be able to add 5V and then attenuate. A ...
