Re: BugBrand compilation 3: gauge of interest

As it stands there is no this edition so the notion of another one after that is pretty unlikely!

Re: BugBrand compilation 3: gauge of interest

Submissions for this have completely dried up. Strange as I thought people would want to share the weird and wonderful dance moves their systems are now doing since the release of DDSR, dual divide, logic, BBV, joy/touch, Pt delay, quad sine, dc mix, LPG, penrose, le seq, orgone accumulator, tresses...

Re: A somewhat selfish list of things I'd like to see Tom make

How about a theremin controller as two separate modules, to sit at the extreme ends of frame for the left/ right hand gestures :hihi: Semi joking of course. I imagine there’s probably a ton of interference issues doing this in modular otherwise there would have been something like that in Euro befor...

Re: BugBrand compilation 3: gauge of interest

Thanks to the 7 that have submitted already - to the rest that expressed interest in submitting, I'm not going to push for this so much this time - so until I state otherwise in this thread yes, there is still space, and yes, still accepting submissions and no, no concrete release. Got lots going on...

Re: A somewhat selfish list of things I'd like to see Tom make

What I find really useful in the system is the Noise Crusher. Noise, S/H can be very useful to bring some random. I use in all my patches to make variations. Here's a simple ex. with Grilles and sound from DRM1 + Expander. S/H to control the hihat rhythm. Up to 8 seconds without S/H signal coming i...

Re: A somewhat selfish list of things I'd like to see Tom make

2fw phaser = 2 individual phasers or 1 phaser with lots of options? Also what new bits are you thinking on the freq shifter? That is very intriguing to me!! As always - my want list goes 1) noise source 2) phaser. and now 3) comparator & pos/neg slew modules. That is all :-). Oh and yeah, some sort ...

Re: New tape album featuring Ciat Lonbarde instruments

Indeed it sounds rather dry but in a good way. every idea is given it's moment and never allowed to stray off into irrelevant mumblings To prevent those random mumblings in my work I'm usually very selective about the stuff I allow to get into a looper for instance. But beeing to restrictive on the...

Re: New tape album featuring Ciat Lonbarde instruments

I'm really enjoying this record! Love the combination of CL electronic sounds and real spatial percussion Awesome! Seems you're not alone, this was our fastest selling tape yet! For me it's a perfect release, concise, succinct, crazy as hell but every idea is given it's moment and never allowed to ...

2 different styles of Bug performance

One focused heavily on the CTL1’s for expressive playing: https://www.instagram.com/tv/B-71YInBMPO/?igshid=1tg8jx7zjh8q2 Using the quad sine, freq shifter, wavefolder, Sv filter, dual filter, lpg, dd2, active switches, binary divisions, vcas, matrix and of course CTL1s. And another focused on sequen...

Re: BugBrand compilation 3: gauge of interest

For anyone interested the label has released a few tapes since the BugBrand comps, with the two latest released today. We invested in a lot of tape stock before the current COVID-19 situation, hoping people are still buying tapes so we can progress with further releases.

When's last orders Chris?
I have 2 submissions so far so...... when I have enough for a tape! I’m not gonna push people too much for this as the procedure tends to be super slow anyway. This was just a friendly reminder that this is still a thing :-D
