Re: Juno 106 Chorus Module for Eurorack

Hi there guys, I got a PM asking about the files of this project, I will also gonna post the diptrace files here. It is a shame this never saw the light of the day, that panel made by sempervirent (posted on page 10) looks so beautiful. Anyways, if anyone have the time and will to finish this, here ...

Thinking about getting one, but to use it with a decent midi controller and the VST editor:

I can´t even believe that this synth is from the same company that made the poly kobol clone, which sounds so good... This one here sounds worst than cheap VST.

Haha they are seriously gonna risk it going against Behringer? Who would buy this when they can get a Boog for a fraction of the price?

Re: Pulsar-23 by Soma

I see, well, I can´t argue with owners. Can´t say I like or not if I never used it, it just looks weird to me. I don´t find very aesthetically pleasing. Don´t you have a problem with a cluster of alligator clips touching their tips and creating "shorts"? I would end creating something like those jum...

I thought that the alligator clip patching was just a prototype thing, very weird decision to not use regular jacks...

I will get one if he updates the format.

Re: Moog One

I keep my Prophet-T8 but bought a Prophet-X; then got a PolyEvolver Keys and Rack: but, I sold my Modal 002R, bought a K5000R and then three Emu-E4XT / PLATINUM & Others. Bought a VAX77, Midiboard, Haaken, Symboklic Sound Kyma and a Roland A80 ... does any of this matter ? ! Weird you bought those ...

Re: Moog One

I just bought a Moog One 16 Voice. I had a Sunsyn. I sold it. I had a PPG Wave 2.3 Fully Loaded and Updgraded and sold that too. I bought a new Waldorf, a Microwave II to complement my Microwave . I own the Schmidt 8 Voice, Yamaha CS80 and a Moog One. Those were my choices of hardware sound palette...

25K pounds for a synth and you don´t even get to know the tempo of the sequencer, oh, and no Midi to CV?? You would expect a full fledged MIDI to CV... Just because it is inspired by an old synth does not mean you could not add some modern stuff for ease of use.

Only would buy one if there was a full fledged software editor.

Brilliant module, just what I was looking for. I think that one way of making it smaller is removing the display and just having a LED which will light up when "C" or "A" (whatever the default setting is programmed) is reached. I personally don´t care about seeing the notes on the tuner or the freq...

Very nice little sequencer.

I would like to see a MK 2 version with:

-Own clock generator and clock output
-Being able to turn on and off steps
-Being able to choose which steps to slide

@Divinital Was taking a look at the specs, do you consider this a poor modulation matrix? "... the MOD MATRIX (modulation matrix), itself being a six-channel affair with up to three destinations per channel giving a maximum of 18 routings. It is also worth noting that the three LFOs (Low Frequency O...

@Divinital

You should try the Waldorf Kyra (previously Valkyrie), that thing is a monster. Could easily be the new Virus. Demos don´t do it justice, though.

Based on specs it should smoke any digital synth.

Unfortunately I can´t try one in person, where I live.

They could ditch that delay section and expand the midi to CV with a improved clock generator and some midi functions like in Yarns. I think the whole point of getting those kinds of synths is having a standalone unit where you don´t need to be tethered to other gear to improve it... :hmm: By "teth...

They could give a little bit more love to the clock generator. Tapping a tempo on a teeny-tiny button is :bang: , there is absolutely no way to know the bpm this way. Add a 3 digit display to show BPM. You know, if you gonna call it a "lab", give it some more precision. They could ditch that delay s...
