Re: Variable ways to clock Rene

Renes in’s work brilliant with pams. Easy Peary gate lengths.
Maths can lengthen your gates as well. Mix with some other modulation for changes in there.
The logics are really nice as well. Would recommend some renewed deep diving, it’s a really fun sequencer.

Yah, I think I went like three years before getting a sequencer. And still don't reach for them all that often...

Re: KOMA Field Kit

I have zero problem with levels or anything of that nature. I use both fx and regular.ixing works great, it can overdrive pretty quick like if you want it to and having an aux. Send is pretty useful as well.
The radio also can help open up into the world of antenna design and that fun stuff.

Re: Fixed Filter Banks - Long-term use, same-y results?

For myself, fixed filter banks really impacted my playing style. I got my addad601 around the same time as my first matrix mixer, Bob's your uncle. Was able to start getting the tones and movements that I have been looking for. The fxdx is a really interesting ffb as well, yet as some others have po...

Re: COCOQUANTUS 2 "GETTING STARTED MANUAL"

Exactly, that's going to help open everything up. Being able to run everything through pp really suited my work flow. Having a grasp on what my euro does helped me enormously with understanding what the coco does.

Re: COCOQUANTUS 2 "GETTING STARTED MANUAL"

Yah that's just the audio and should be fine. Grounding is needed when using the modulation points between the formats, as far as I know.
I run audio from coco into phonogene often with no worries. But if I'm patching between, I use one of those lowgain modules and connect grounds.

Re: COCOQUANTUS 2 "GETTING STARTED MANUAL"

Is it allright to use a modular level signal or is it to 'hot'. I used both the left stereo in and the piezo in that way... Next step to make a converter box for those Eurorack/banana combination. I have never had any problem running euro into cocos. And a conversion box is pretty grand. It really ...

Re: COCOQUANTUS 2 "GETTING STARTED MANUAL"

As far as I know (which is not very far) it had a higher gain stage, to help bring piezo levels up. So you can over drive your op1 signal if you pin it. But that's all :)

Re: COCOQUANTUS 2 "GETTING STARTED MANUAL"

The piezo input plus stacked bananas to each side works well.
Often I'll take my euro stereos and Jack those in the individual ins.
A splitter cable works as well for your op1, male to two female ends, than I just use a pair of 3.5 patch cables.

Re: My love for Fixed Filter Banks.....FFB

I use both the addac 601 and make noise fxdf. The only filters in my rack, and boy did it change my work flow. Pair with some matrix mixing and an interesting sound source, really opened up moving feedback patching for me.
