Re: Separating sources by band

Been running most of my sounds through an addac601, individual band outs to get processed, fed back etc than mixed back together in soundstage. It’s a super fun work flow, often running the signal into lrmssmmssmrl afterwards for more shenanigans. And am excited to here worn is working on something ...

Re: Stereo Processing

Lrsmmsrl or what have you and soundstage make a great pair.
The worng stuff and filterbanks have been a huge source of enjoyment for me. A huge amount of stereo fun.
I got a stereo output mixer first, and worked backwards in the signal chain and it’s been fucking amazing.

Re: Favorite module that no one knows?

Sadly have never had the chance to play with the mkii. As you have found out, there is little video documentation on the things. I might be partaking in some made up memory here but I believe the conduit and the matter mkI where the same base module with different tunings. With the conduit having th...

Re: Favorite module that no one knows?

Folktek is a pretty interesting company. Have a few of their modules and stand alone’s. I missed out on the matter ii sales, but I do have the mkI and it’s a pretty rad machine. You generalLy see those for sale a bit more often than the mkii. It’s not for everyone but I really like it. One can coax ...

Re: Small case for pressure points?

I tried just pp in a case, but found that having a larger skiff with all the bits and bobs needed makes it a bit more user friendly. 2hpswitch and quantizer, that skiff power from endorphins that has mults. I like having a few smaller cases with focused jobs, so being able to move my sequencing betw...

Re: Small case for pressure points?

I keep Rene two pp and a 2hpswitch in a skiff. That seems to work well, and it’s nice to look at :\
Built mine from acrylic panels I picked up from tapplastics

Re: Variable ways to clock Rene

Renes in’s work brilliant with pams. Easy Peary gate lengths.
Maths can lengthen your gates as well. Mix with some other modulation for changes in there.
The logics are really nice as well. Would recommend some renewed deep diving, it’s a really fun sequencer.

Re: KOMA Field Kit

I have zero problem with levels or anything of that nature. I use both fx and regular.ixing works great, it can overdrive pretty quick like if you want it to and having an aux. Send is pretty useful as well.
The radio also can help open up into the world of antenna design and that fun stuff.

Re: Fixed Filter Banks - Long-term use, same-y results?

For myself, fixed filter banks really impacted my playing style. I got my addad601 around the same time as my first matrix mixer, Bob's your uncle. Was able to start getting the tones and movements that I have been looking for. The fxdx is a really interesting ffb as well, yet as some others have po...

Re: COCOQUANTUS 2 "GETTING STARTED MANUAL"

Exactly, that's going to help open everything up. Being able to run everything through pp really suited my work flow. Having a grasp on what my euro does helped me enormously with understanding what the coco does.

Re: COCOQUANTUS 2 "GETTING STARTED MANUAL"

Yah that's just the audio and should be fine. Grounding is needed when using the modulation points between the formats, as far as I know.
I run audio from coco into phonogene often with no worries. But if I'm patching between, I use one of those lowgain modules and connect grounds.

Re: COCOQUANTUS 2 "GETTING STARTED MANUAL"

Is it allright to use a modular level signal or is it to 'hot'. I used both the left stereo in and the piezo in that way... Next step to make a converter box for those Eurorack/banana combination. I have never had any problem running euro into cocos. And a conversion box is pretty grand. It really ...
