Re: Live 10 CV Instrument - Detune?

I do. Just create an LFO which outputs in the same CV channel as your V/OCT (no explicit mixing needed). LFO should output 0.05 out of the +/-10V for the best effect but you can obviously mix it to taste. Also remember to disable the LFO when tuning your VCO  Oh course! Can you tell I'm new to...

Loaded a couple of generated carts into my DX7s this morning, this is very cool.

Re: Vermona DRM-1 MKIII in the year 2020

Love mine. I had the triggers fitted but rarely use them as the machine responds so well to midi velocity, the sounds seem to change over the velocity spectrum. Not sure why people are hating on the trigger ins not reacting to velocity, to my knowledge voltage sensitive triggers are few and far betw...

Live 10 CV Instrument - Detune?

Hello all,

Anyone using the CV tools pack much? I feel like I might be being daft, I can't seem to find a way to detune the 1v/oct signal once calibrated.

It might not exist, Silent Way has the feature, seems like such an easy win I was surprised to not see it.

Re: New gear from Behringer, what would you like to see happen.?

expired patents argument. That's when you realize your justifications were wrong and only invented to serve your own self interest ('cause that's what we do). Nothing about expired patents is an argument, nor is it invented. It is the legal basis for the patents system. From the wiki page on patent...

Re: Re:

I'm sure someone will correct me if i'm wrong - I'm fairly certain all of the patents on IP Behringer has cloned expired long ago. Meaning anyone is able to use the idea if they want. There is actually a very good reason for this - It forces people/companies who create new things to do more great R...

Bought today, just recorded a 5 second clip of myself talking nonsense and lost an hour playing with the controls.

Jaw droppingly good.

Is there an easy way to DL the 2 Synth Tech folders without the rest?

Apologies if this should be obvious, I haven't used Github much.

I recently purchased a QMMG. However only channel 1 sounds really nice a plucky. Channels 2-4 are ringing too long for my taste and also don't have such a nice plucky attack as channel 1. Is there anything I can do about it? Are you pinging the QMMG channels with gates or triggers? You can turn the...

I have the original. Assuming the circuit is the same, i would recommend having LOTS of attenuation available.

All of the inputs shine when you bring the levels down a bit, audio and CV. It sings overdriven too but attenuate to give yourself more range.

Love the QMMG

Basically yeah, pretty sure this is why maths channels 1 and 4 can act as (sort of) filters.

Nice looking new DX TX editor

A chap called Jeremy Bernstein recently shared this on a DX7 facebook group. He is still ironing out some issues at the moment, pre testing. Once finished it'll include randomisation and run in Max4Live (as well as standalone, i think). I think it looks great, very clean. Anyone heard anything else?...

QMMG - It's just a wonderful sounding thing, and so sensitive to input level - creamy to ridiculous.

MMF6 - Pretty much the same as above.

Furthrrrrrr Gen - For me, the loveliest of the complex oscillators. Fuzzy warm and freaky

Sorry, maybe wasn't clear - I'm not suggesting DC level shifting would be the same or even similar to TZ. I just wondered if this would prevent an oscillator stopping during the negative portion of the modulation. As the modulation would be (for example) 0v to 10v rather than -5v to 5v My (novice) b...

TZFM is handy to have (IMenlightened-but-still-humbleO) because when you go negative on a regular osc, the action just stops and your ear hears it as a glitch I just read this and thought - What if I added enough offset to the modulating oscillator to move the waveform fully above the zero line? Mi...

As soon as there are only two levels being true or false, the system is digital.

I'd be interested to hear how you explain analog clock?

This is getting very silly isn't it. I think we should stop soon.
