Re: Cwejman MMF-1s
I bought the L-1 Linear PSU that Wowa recommends and it works well. The MMF-1s did OK in an old Monorocket Gemini case but won't play nice with any of my Intellijel and Makenoise power supplies.

Re: Qu-Bit Data Bender
lots of misconceptions can be cleared up by reading the manual on the Qubit site, as far as what it is and what it does. There are 2 modes for how bend/break work, and 3 distortion types. In macro mode, bend affects pitch/direction of pieces of audio in the buffer. Break is a stutter effect independ...

Re: Qu-Bit Data Bender
I'm just here to say that I'm still interested in getting one eventually, when I can afford it. Until then, I will say that I am very curious to hear how it sounds applied directly to human speech and solo vocal tracks. There's something exciting about the idea of putting some a'capella pop diva or...

Re: Qu-Bit Data Bender
You can order direct from Qu-Bit, and I would imagine stores will have them soon. I wouldn't say there is much overlap with the Mimeophon, other than filling a buffer with audio. The Data Bender is my favorite Qu-Bit module so far. Even the unaffected buffer/repeat sound is really nice. The interfac...

the manual states no more than 5v CV input. I'd imagine going over that could damage the pedal.

Re: Best mini keyboard/synth to pair with modular for live use?
I use the Qunexus plugged into my Hermod. Obviously not a synth, but allows me to play expressively with the modular as well as build great sounding sequences on the Hermod, and it is super-compact. Also has CV out.

2hp told me the lower range of the threshold is purposely "rude." I like obliterating stuff, and the rest of the settings/ranges are what you'd expect in a compact compression module.

Re: Interface for stereo line in recording for iPhone videos?
bumping this topic. I'm using an iPhone 11 pro and looking for something to run audio from the headphone out of my apogee ensemble to the lightning input of my iPhone. Currently using an iRig Pro which is mono only and clips at low volumes.

Re: DIY Monorocket-style case build
necro-bump. I needed to make a new 6u case to put a linear power supply into, and used my own thread for instructions. I didn't build a lid, because it's just going to sit in my studio. I added holes and vent covers to aid in keeping the power supply cool. The covering is charcoal tweed tolex.

the Hilbish amps and the pedal are Beta clones. Buzzo uses the preamps on tour. I plan on selling my vintage Betas and going for the pedal, as there's no way I can crank the amps at home any more
