It’s easy to build the MOTM440 in MU format.
I can build some if someone wants them.

Please share a picture of your populated PCB.
Make sure the big 5W resistor pin is isolated - it’s easy to get a short to the heatsinks.

Re: [IC] vintage 6-voice polysynth kit project?

About an European distribution, i can handle this but we have to make the metalwork and cabinet in the EU and ordering the pcbs directly from the fab, otherwise it’s more expensive and complicated with the customs office.

Just buy LM201 in SOIC and use an adapter to DIP8 or buy from alfa r par the new AS301

You can’t use a TL071 for an LM301 as a substitute part in every circuit.

Not really good.
It’s a short in the circuit or less/wrong input power from the external psu.

Re: Deckards Dream General Build Thread

2Amps is fine for testing with 1-2voices but not with all voices, there’s a current peak when the device is powered on. Furthermore it’s better to test the device without Voicecards for the first tests and for the flashing process. It’s better to use a bench psu with current limiting for testing, a ...

Re: HVM meets SE330 building

There’s no panel which fit for every case.
I build atm. a SRE330 and used from Thomann the Adam hall case, it wasn’t easy to find the correct allignment.
You have to print your panel file on paper (DIN A2) and check the correct sizing.

Re: TTSH Ver.3 (rev.8) General build thread

I wait on an answer from Synthcube. It’s not that much work to change the traces and move some vias 2mm away from the jacks. And maybe change some other things (separate ground for the Leds, 4 holes for the Waveshaper cables or sync mod. Change the top board Outline at the corners for wooden cases a...

Re: TTSH Ver.3 (rev.8) General build thread

There are different options to get an isolation, it almost depends on the PCB fab quality. Some fabs from Europe offer more options than other fabs. Re: Two Thousand Six Hundred (TTSH) Ver.1 General build thread

Yes. Connect it in the same way like the other sections.
You can mount the gatebooster with an 12-20mm metall spacer next to the nut/screw in the noise section.
On my website are few pictures of different mounting options.
