Yikes! Looks like a screenshot from the silicon valley computer museum. I've always gone here, which looks much better: http://www.krisp1.com/store/ lol... yeah, the store link is the one I have bookmarked. I think I just typed it in krisp1.com this time. Made me think of geocities, AOL, etc. Depen...

I'm on the list for one regardless. Good to know that Coyoteous is positioned for table scraps, just in case... :tu: Woof! https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/2/2d/His_Master%27s_Voice.jpg/1024px-His_Master%27s_Voice.jpg His master's voice (module)... looks like I was right about t...

At a glance, I'd guess not from the main out (didn't spot a VCF out, either)... unless the gate in is normalized high?

I'm interested in this, though... y'all buy some, so I can maybe pick up one secondhand later (heh).

lol... feeling more like the latter today after swapping around 25-30 Cosmos and Cosmo clones (thinking of changing my name to Cosmo Clone for day and Knobferatu by cover of night)... that's out of well over 300 MU knobs in six cases/cabs/racks. There were fewer outliers than I thought, and some eas...

This knob height thing is a friggin' non-reclosable can of worms... turns out there's a reason for high knobs in some cases: pot shaft too long or threaded bushing too high, just to name a couple (yeah, replace pot and a washer under the panel respectively). When I get back to it which may be never,...

OK, the knob plot thickens (or thins, or something like that)... noticed Modular Addict has these: https://modularaddict.com/parts/knobs/cosmo7602-knob Which are not Cosmo, but states in the description that they are "clones of Cosmo 7602" (good sci-fi title, huh?)... anyway, I have some spare purpl...

Xero: Good info regarding the Mini... forgot the date on mine, I'll check when I pull it out.

JohnLRice: Thanks, I think I have a reasonable plan to only use knobs I have now... boiled it down to a little knob shuffling after looking at Cosmo and a few other sites.

The only thing that I don't like of these knobs is that they are taller than the normal 1 inch ones :bang: True, though in some ways I like the taller look in certain situations, especially when compared to the same diameter short Cosmo knobs that are 11.8mm tall. Argh... hadn't noticed that (need ...

Xero : What's the serial #? Mine's 4441 and has those type knobs for the pointers... need to pull it out to compare for my next knob frenzy (also Sonic Six and Moog rack effects: 12 stage phaser and parametric, but those have different knobs than the modulars and Mini... I think the effects are mor...

Been knob gazing again today... I think I'm cool with the two different regular-sized MU knobs (3/4" skirted/Moogy/Cosmo-type): 1) .com/polyoxybenzylmethylenglycolanhydride/bakelite? - more rounded on the top/fluting... maybe a little different sheen 2) seems to be the kind everyone else uses - diff...

Hi Guys, I'm sorting this, there has obviously been something odd in production chain here. These get tested prior to despatch but I need to look into how these were done as something may have been misinterpreted. They are usually all done in house, but these were part of an outworked batch. They w...

The image is not loading. If you could take a picture of the back the module will be easy to see how the switches are connected. Right... no image posted. josaka, I´ve sent a message via the homepage. It´s just been a weekend, so I´ll wait a few days more before I go to FB, but thanks for the advice. Coyotous, I absolutely agree. I wondered about that before even ordering the modules, but thought 9-15 outs wouldn´t ever be needed anyway. Still, an in...

JohnLRice : Do you mind if this becomes a general 5U knob thread? Also... didn't mean to confuse matters referring to the short little .com knobs, which I guess are Cosmos? (Roger seems to have some deep sourcing, so who knows?) For the record, they're fine, but on the modules I mentioned, I like t...

"5U high x 1MU wide module featuring four quad jack multiples with two linking switches allowing two octal multiples or one sixteen way multiple." I am confused too - I think the Cotk PSU usually delivers 15V and is downregulated to 12V on the Busboard, isn't it? I vaguely remember following the traces back then to be sure it will work - so it should work but seems still a bit odd to do so since there are two cotk-connectors switchable betwee...
