This is pretty neat, especially the huge orb in the middle. Can't tell, in the video is it making the tone as well as the clicking?

Re: M303 too low level

I too have had 2 of these modules and both have been low volume. My hack to increase the volume is to have a the ALM 2hp headphone amplifier module and use the headphone output into the rest of the rack. It still is usually a tiny bit quiet compared to the rest of the synth but is at least in the sa...

Re: QD Quad Drum Voice by vpme.de

im guessing there isn't enough processing power to crossfade between two sets of 4 drums as that would basically double the number of voices, on the LXR when you interpolate a setting where there are a set number of options (like filter type or LFO shape) it will literally just sweep between the set...

Re: QD Quad Drum Voice by vpme.de

Just get a second one ;). Absolutely loving this module as well. So much flexibility and really easy to get used to menu system. I realize this would be an entirely different beast but have you thought at all about preset interpolation the way that the sonic potions lxr works? I get a lot of lovely ...

Re: module for calculating fm ratios for 2 operator fm?

Yeah but in 1v/o standard double the voltage is still double the pitch right? AFAIK the linear to exponential relationship is taken care of by the expo converter in the oscillator.

FYI I figured out the samples and it was because my files were stereo. Doh, the amen breaks are coming through strong now.

Re: QD Quad Drum Voice by vpme.de

Hey there, really enjoying my quad drum. I'm trying to upload some amen samples (basic I know) and it doesn't seem to be working. I have them loaded into a folder called "01_amen" and there are maybe 5 - 6 slices in there. When I put back in the SD card it seems to be a bank of snares/ claps that ha...

Re: Turing Machine mod - external input instead of noise?

You would have to do this either digitally or with a sample and hold rather than a digital shift register the way that the TM does it. Hypothetically you could use an ADC and sample the input into a small RAM chip or something but that would be a real pain in the butt. I feel like the O_C shift regi...

Re: Combiner with CV?

You could probably just do this with diode logic and skip the comparators. Just do and AND gate on each input and an OR gate to combine them all. Plus this way you can use it for fun CV mangling.

Your flxs 1 isnt worthless, its still a really good sequencer. It just might not get all of the features that were promised on launch.

https://www.muffwiggler.com/forum/userpix2/9172_20191211_160809_1.jpg I personally feel like these are no trouble with playability. I also feel like there has been a shift in the "style" of eurorack, so modules that used to be fairly popular or at least sellable are now too big or at least too greedy with HP. Its harder to sell these guys.

I personally would love more modulation destinations (seq length, divide, skip amount, randomness etc) with internal routing. I use this thing for aleatoric/ algorithmic sequencing mostly so having some more depth under the hood by modulating the parameters that are already there would be awesome.

you could always just turn both pitch knobs all the way down and then send an offset into your quantizer
