Re: Mystic Circuits ANA - Purple Friday Sale

So I have plans to release Leaves and another Tree expander with the next run of Trees. I was going to do Leaves first (It's basically ready) but it didn't really make sense to have the expander available but not the host. I have one more module that I would like to release before the Tree restock a...

Re: Non-Integer Clock Dividers?

If you are looking for rational numbers instead of just random decimals I think this is the module you are looking for. Built in randomness is a nice feature as well.

Re: Logic modules especially AND-Gates.

Why are not more people talking about AND gates and why are there so few dedicated modules? OR combiners are also cool and there are a few good modules out there. I made a passive prototype with 2x3 OR combiner and 2x2 AND gate and it works just perfect. But I want more. I am currently designing 3 ...

Re: Filling out an Ieaskul F Mobenthey rack

<self promo> You might want to check out a module I make called Ana. It gives a bunch of analog logic/ waveshaping options that I use with my IFM modules often. There is a lot of synergy to explore there. </self promo>

Re: Mystic Circuits Portal - limited edition Black Panel units

Hey folks, Portals are almost sold out. We have a limited number of Black Panel units available directly through our site (5 units left at the time of writing) after which you will have to wait for the next batch which will use our new purple panels. If you want metal panels whatever is in stock wit...

Re: [BUILD] Bytes Turing Machine expander

The detents on the length pot are from a rotary switch, not a pot. I don't know off the top of my head if you can get 8 detent pots in the right angle format required for Bytes but it wont feel the same either way. @simon4zed the calibration of the trimpot actually only works for scaling the incomin...

Re: clockable envelope Modules

I'm going to go ahead and point out that not all clock following algorithms are built the same. I have had both a pingable envelope generator as well as a mutable tides v2 and while they both have their positives and negatives IMHO the PEG was so much more instantaneous when adjusting its speed in c...

Re: Mystic Circuits VERT and SWITCHES now available

Do you mean to build yourself or to buy assembled? Either way the Vert has been discontinued for awhile and they dont pop up for sale very often. Switches is still a great companion for all the different versions of the Turing Machine.

Yes I'm talking with Thonk about a restock, Escape from Noise has assembled units in stock for the EU.

Maybe I should make a little 0HP bag or something, a keychain would certainly be an interesting option.

Re: Analog Waveform divider / multiplier

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Frequen ... cy_divider

Take a look at this, only problem is that the filter needs to be tuned to 1/2 the input frequency. Hypothetically you can just tune by hand and then send it the same 1v/o sequence as your oscillator.

Re: Mystic Circuits LPG questions/thoughts?

If you have a module that works as a "buffered multiple" then it should amount to a similar thing as the VCA trick you are doing but with fewer parts. That being said it is a passive module so things like the output impedance of the module you are driving it with, voltage level of the CV input (10V ...

Re: Mystic Circuits LPG questions/thoughts?

Sounds like the vactrol does in fact have light leak. It unfortunately happens, we make them ourselves and are getting better at mitigating this as we improve the process. Have you tried buffering the CV instead of doing the fancy VCA trick?

Re: NEW Dual Attenuator ~ Mystic Circuits 0HP Modular

Yeah this is the sort of stuff I imagined when I made these, people adapting the PCBs to their own purposes, maybe throwing them into other instruments that need a few simple functions. I want to put up just the PCB/ backplate combos back on the website but it will have to wait until I make some mor...
