Re: DROID Universal CV processor

Just writing to express my interest in one of these when it comes out. I'd probably start with the main one on its own before venturing into the extenders, depending on cost. If it hasn't been mentioned, one way to test scripts would be to have Droid available on VCV Rack. I'd certainly pay for a vi...

first Muxlicer patch

Got my Muxlicer this weekend, and recorded my first patch last night. I have a lot to learn, especially about the clock. The electric piano sound in this is triggered (from an ER-301) by the EOC every eight bars. I thought I could use a clock divider (I don't actually own one, so I put signals to/fr...

Ordered

I just ordered one. I’ll report back. I learned about it in a reference in a Cold Mac guide I was reading. I recently swapped out my A-119 for an Erica Pico Input, and found I missed the follower.

Re: A-530

In the meanwhile, an Erica Synths Pico Input is headed my way, and I'll see how that goes. Just to follow up, it goes great. Got my Erica Synths Pico Input today, and have tried it out with both my electric guitar and an iPod, just as first tests, and both sound super. Currently running my guitar i...

DVCA

Thanks. I didn't know that. I wonder if that makes Antumbra's mini-Veils, the DVCA, a good 4HP option for external audio input:

A-530

Hi. Sure thing. Below is the full correspondence. Maybe I misunderstood, and I was only being told the A-530 is inappropriate for mic levels, but if I'm reading it correctly, it seems to say guitar should "be processed through an processor" (presumably to raise the level) before going to an A-530. I...

Ladik

I corresponded with Ladik, who helpfully confirmed the A-530 is not a good choice for guitar as a direct input.

I just ordered an Erica Pico Input. I'll report back once I've used it.

Temps Utile v. Trigger Man (Playability)

Hi. I was wondering if folks who have experience with the Temps Utile could comment on this. Is the Temps Utile "playable" like the Trigger Man is? I know the Temps Utile does a lot more than the Trigger Man, which is what excited me about it, and I was wondering if the manual controls over the Temp...

Has anyone got a report on the Befaco Out 3? Thanks. I'm looking to replace my Pitts Outs, and while I like the Rosie, I don't really need the send/return, and yeah I'm looking to keep the HP low.

Re: DAY 3: VCA Quintet Mixing Console

You mean plugging a Hot Eurorack signal, that's mono through the headphones instead of a Line level signal that's balanced stereo, what can go wrong? :deadbanana: :) Thanks for confirming. I figured. I know I can get something like a Rosie to give me cue options. Alternately, I was wondering if the...

Re: DAY 3: VCA Quintet Mixing Console

The Solo line is also intended for Pre Listening purposes, using this output to connect your headphones through some headphone amplifier module. My naive question of the moment: is it a problem to plug a headphone directly into the solo out (either by channel or the Solos Out jack)? I imagine it wo...

Extracting audio

This is probably a silly question, but in order to get audio off a MK3 and into my laptop for editing, it’s necessarily to take the module out of the rack to access the card, right? Thanks.

Thanks very much. I was wondering if the manual is out, and the main thing I was going to ask about was how the four-voice polyphony is employed.

Just a quick note of thanks for this thread. I've got a second-gen ES-3 and an ES-6 on the way, and I was wondering about whether I could use a longer cable.

make a Disquiet Junto project

Some Muff-folk participate in this weekly music project series that I moderate, and I thought I'd mention it here. For the past 203 consecutive weeks, as part of the Disquiet Junto, musicians have responded to composition prompts. Each project is announced on a Thursday and the track is due by the f...

ran out of sliding nuts (Monorocket)

I guess I have too many narrow-HP modules.

I ran outta nuts on the bottom row of my Monorocket Eurorack setup, and there's still room for a 4-HP module.

Anyone have a tip for adding nuts to a Monorocket case?

Thanks.

Let me know if the specs need further fleshing out.

I love this module.

UL1uloop: power consumption?

Hi. Do we know the power consumption yet for the UL1? The PDF on the Soundmachines website doesn't list the information, and it's on on the Modular Grid page, either:

http://www.modulargrid.net/e/soundmachines-ul1

Thanks!
