On a side note... I really hope prOk comes up with a better way to load from the sdcard. Not a fan of the “hold down a button at power-up” method.
yep, it's coming too.

At least fully closing Thonk for Coronavirus is opening up time soon for this...

Are the prok modules identical in hardware? Can you flash the BD as a SN for example?
If only one was available to buy can you just change it into one of the others?
You will be able to soon.

This year hasn't really gone to plan...

Re: Eurorack Aluminium Blank Panel sizes - What do you prefer?

Oh and I should say, we're looking at a comprehensive range up to 10hp and a couple of larger sizes too. It's just this particular zone of 10-18 I think has more scope for being suitable for particular DIY styles.

Eurorack Aluminium Blank Panel sizes - What do you prefer?

Hey, We are looking to gave a comprehensive range of Euro blank panels in Silver and Black anodised finish at Thonk. They will be 2mm thick with the wider 'slotted' type holes. We'd like to know what sizes DIYers prefer in the 10-18hp range specifically as these are the sizes typically easier to dri...

Re: Why are people selling Mutable Instruments?

It's just because there are a lot of them to start with, this is no different to people claiming that there are lots of Make Noise modules for sale second hand because people don't like the panels, no, there are just more of them to start with.

Re: Prok Drum modules

Anyone know if it is possible to edit the parameters by entering specific amounts? For example, I can only select 30.00, 54.85, 79.70...etc. using the cursor for the "Sine A Base Freq" but I see presets with "49.71". Is there a way to type in exact amounts or am I limited to the screen resolution s...

Re: Prok Drum modules

We try to avoid teasers but as we have a 'not enough hours in the day' bottleneck at the moment here is a little bit of info on what is in beta at the moment. This is what we are gradually opening up to people as time allows (beyond the new firmware features already announced at Superbooth). NEW TOO...

The beta being ready in the middle of the Thonk Xmas, New Year, January Sale apocalypse has been a bit hard to handle to say the least.

Re: Prok Drum modules

This is one solution for the Circadian/Trigger Riot issue, the TipTop modules are also problematic with some 4MS modules too and they suggested modifying the TipTop modules... but as the Prok fix is simple it's probably better to go this route. Note we've not found this fix is required for any other...

Re: Prok Drum modules

Is there any progress with the firmware update of the prok drums? i have read here in the thread that december is a possible release date. I just had a look at github and there is no progress since months ..... would be sad that such great modules would die so early in this early stage of developme...

I think sometimes demand is being underestimated, but I think it's also worth considering that Eurorack companies don't necessarily want to change in the way you have to in order to consistently meet demand without gaps. The reality of that does not often make a desirable workplace and the risk invo...
