Which Thonk Vactrol for a passive LPG?

Thonk (@monobass) sells six different Vactrols. I want to build a simple, passive, Vactrol controlled attenuator for my synth. Which of these bad boys looks best; or are they all best, and it's just subjective? VTL5C1 – offers 100db dynamic range, fast response time, and very high dark resistance. V...

Wireless Audio

I'm thinking about buying a wireless audio sender/receiver to play a small modular through my hifi in my front room.

I'm looking at the Boss WL-20L Wireless System.

Anyone tried the Boss or have good alternatives? I'm not looking to burn a pile of cash on this.

I had the same issue with my 2019 BUSA. One of the wires off the reverb had snapped and needed to be re-soldered to the board. Other users have reported the springs jumping off during transit. You need to pop it open and give it a good inspection, if you haven't done so already. There's a Todd video...

Perf board or vero board that'll slot into an easel

I want to prototype a couple of functions/circuits and slot them into my easel rather than hot-gluing a perfboard to a program card.

Is there a double sided perf or vero board on the market with edges compatible with that Jammo 56 pin connector?

Just like the perf in Papz's perfbob, but bigger.

208e Program Cards

I'm gonna have a go at bolting a couple of simple circuits to a program card, anyone know where the + and - power is exposed?

And it's 15v, right?

Couple of slews and clock dividers from pulse and seq to send out to euro drums planned.

I thought rand was going to be some sort of logic function. Duh!

Let's pretend this didn't happen :)

If I take the MO after the channel B pot and send it to the right tini audio out, has it been processed by the LPG yet?

I'm thinking about how I could still have the MO available when I get a VCS card and route it though the channel 2 LPG.

I have a 2019 BUSA and the earth thing with the keyboard is still a thing. One of the wires associated with the reverb had snapped in transit and needed a repair. And I don’t get any audio out the right hand tinijax out. Not sure if this is associated with the way I have the jumper set (I have dual ...

From day 1. I assumed the latching was poorly documented and the quirks were something I needed to get used to. Interestingly, I've just noticed the latching can be triggered by firm pressure on some keys. I have second output set up (no sustain) but this stills happens when I use the audio out on t...

218e Arpeggiator

Does the arpeggiator have memory or is there a fault on my 218e?

It sort of remembers the sequence of notes I played and replays them with a single key pressed, sometimes it's a bit random.

I've put an example on youtube.
