Re: Question on Befaco Crush Delay V3
I should have added that mine is also a V3.
It would be odd perhaps if the V2 didn't do that as the design is so similar.
(I also happen to have a V1, which doesn't have that gripe, but that is quite a different design)

Re: Question on Befaco Crush Delay V3
Umm, yes actually. Mine does exactly the same thing. I thought perhaps I hadn't calibrated it quite right (Mine was DIY'd by me) and I was going to try calibrating it again, but now I suspect that won't change anything..
I still like the module lots though! But still, that is an irksome niggle.

Re: Sequencers that are not stuck in 12TET
Not a sequencer and it is modular, but you could surely use any sequencer with this..? https://www.modulargrid.net/e/tubbutec-µtune- (A quantiser) I don't have one myself, but have been pondering it for similar reasons. There are other clever quantisers, but this one appeals to me because it can be ...

Re: Behringer UB-Xa
They own the Oberheim name. According to their own website anyway.Voltcontrol wrote: ↑Wed Jan 27, 2021 9:58 amSurprised that it doesn't say Behringer on the front panel. It is nice though visually.
Even more surprised that they didn't stick with UB-Xa and have used the Oberheim logo. That's plain off.
That said if sure looks tasty.

Re: my first 303 clone
Ahh, the Adafruit x0xb0x kit waiting list was the stuff of legend  Im not half as clever as guest, so my first 303 clone was a Control Synthesis Deep Bass Nine (not DIY). I still have it and it still works pretty good (could do with new pots). Its far from the best 303 clone (even calling it a ...

Re: Recommend some monitors?
I probably should have asked sooner, but are these monitors only going to be used with your new synth? I only ask, as you said you're a noodler, and just going by my own experience, I find many studio monitors can be too clinical sounding just for casual listening/noodling alone. But perhaps you alr...

Re: Recommend some monitors?
I agree with the Yamaha HS range. The best I've seen at this price range, but keep in mind that whatever you go for, 8inch drivers are a must. You can't appreciate a moog bass on anything less than that. Size matters... There is also a handy looking matching powered sub that can be added later if n...

Re: Recommend some monitors?
Its a minefield out there for monitors! But.. Powered or unpowered? I've spent a small fortune on the things in the past, somewhat regrettably as my hearing is shafted now, so fancy monitors are a bit wasted on me. Anyway.. Solid dependable, sounds decent, does what it says on the box kinda thing, a...

Re: Behringer VCS3
So you won't by anything Behringer hey?, well it looks like for some people morals are going to have limits! If it's anything like my other Behringers looks like some saving up is required! Who were you talking to? Or was it another of your copy/pasted pro Behringer posts? (that looks nothing at al...

Re: Sound Sensitive Case LEDs
That's awesome! Yeah, I was hoping there would be someone smarter than me that could figure out MIDI integration. That should be pretty straightforward, but I've spent so much time battling arduinos in the past that I don't fancy trying again. I already spend too much time on the computer as it is....

Re: Sound Sensitive Case LEDs
Ha! Good stuff.. Oddly enough i've been toying with somewhat similar things just the past few weeks. I've been experimenting with Neopixels (WS2812) LEDs and Arduinos. The electronics side of it was easy enough for me, but im a disaster with the code! Fortunately theres tons of example code to try o...
