^ No real reason why not, other than it uses surface mount electronics, which isn't entirely popular with the modding crowd.

Re: 1075 mA on Doepfer (PSU2) 1200, risky?

I ran mine closer to the limit (according to modular grid figures) than that for quite a while with no issues. In my experience they are quite sturdy PSUs. However, it didn't seem like a good idea to continue doing that, so I replaced it with an Erica Synths 2.5amp linear PSU kit. Which has the adde...

Re: Plz make me a UK power supply for a GB Spring Reverb?

I've just got one of these from a studio clear out, sans power supply! Mine is the unbalanced one, which I thought was mono, so I was chuffed to discover that it is stereo. Now to build a power supply for it. I've always liked spring reverbs, and I seem to recall liking the sound of these ones mysel...

Re: Wasp Filter Issues

I dont mind changing the chip I am no stranger to electronics. I am just concerned of potential damage. I'd like to prevent as much as possible if that makes sense. I am curious does the chip constantly have strain on it? Or is it only when a certain cv is passed threw it or if a certain knob is tu...

Re: Joystick rec's

I don't usually like sprung joysticks either. But I had to make an exception for the Flame JoyRec. Yes its sprung, but it also has a freeze button, which works well enough for me. And of course it records too!
It seems quite flexible as low HP joystick modules go.

Re: Wasp Filter Issues

I've not heard of it taking out other modules either. Altho I do suspect a bad 4069 can take out other components in the module. I had a 4069 fail once on mine some time ago, and its been solid as a rock since (I suspect Doepfer had a bad batch of them). Fortunately the parts that tend to fail are s...

Befaco Crush Delay! Because it sounds bloody great and at 11HP wide it has the added bonus of ridding you of that irksome odd number of HP remaining.
(Sorry, no idea idea what to do with the remaining 8HP though..)

Re: Korg Volca Sample syncing Eurorack

I've not tried it that way. But it's certainly always worked well for me the other way. IE, Volca sync out to Eurorack. I always forget exactly how the Volca pulse per click thing works, but if you have clock dividers/multipliers then it takes care of all that simply enough anyway.

Yes the pots are wobbly. But as you noted, they aren't great on OG 303's either. I'll add the pot guide to mine at some point, but im in no hurry. There are also alternative 'ruggedized' pots available. https://michigansynthworks.com/collections/parts/products/tb-303-re-303-ruggedized-potentiometer-...

Re: RE-303 Opinions wanted (now that it has been in the "wild" for a bit.)

I've been quite pleased with mine. Sound is spot on, in my opinion. Only fly in the ointment being the Sonic Potions CPU firmware development appears to have entirely stalled (perhaps Comboy was abducted by Uli?) There is an alternative "Pixie" CPU option now, but i've not tried it yet. If you must ...

Re: Are Doepfer PSUs drop-in replacements?

In case you want to stay with a linear supply, the Erica Synths V2 2.5A supply is a direct replacement for a Doepfer PSU2 (Same standoff footprint)
Its a kit though, but easy to put together if you are handy with a soldering iron.

I've been using my TTSH/ARP2600 replica with eurorack for a few years now. No real problems at all, bar the already mentioned gate voltage. Also, in my experience the clock output won't clock all eurorack modules reliably. Fortunately it will clock my 4MS clock divider, which essentially reprocesses...

I notice you have a couple of Doepfer Wasp filters there. They are somewhat notorious for failing, which could potentially strain your power supply.
