Re: Korg Volca Sample syncing Eurorack

I've not tried it that way. But it's certainly always worked well for me the other way. IE, Volca sync out to Eurorack. I always forget exactly how the Volca pulse per click thing works, but if you have clock dividers/multipliers then it takes care of all that simply enough anyway.

Re: RE-303 Opinions wanted (now that it has been in the "wild" for a bit.)

Yes the pots are wobbly. But as you noted, they aren't great on OG 303's either. I'll add the pot guide to mine at some point, but im in no hurry. There are also alternative 'ruggedized' pots available. https://michigansynthworks.com/collections/parts/products/tb-303-re-303-ruggedized-potentiometer-...

Look on the product pages. You're looking for a BOM (Bill Of Materials)

Re: RE-303 Opinions wanted (now that it has been in the "wild" for a bit.)

I've been quite pleased with mine. Sound is spot on, in my opinion. Only fly in the ointment being the Sonic Potions CPU firmware development appears to have entirely stalled (perhaps Comboy was abducted by Uli?) There is an alternative "Pixie" CPU option now, but i've not tried it yet. If you must ...

Re: Are Doepfer PSUs drop-in replacements?

In case you want to stay with a linear supply, the Erica Synths V2 2.5A supply is a direct replacement for a Doepfer PSU2 (Same standoff footprint)
Its a kit though, but easy to put together if you are handy with a soldering iron.

It looks like you have v2 which is quite clunky to use. Grab v3, which you should find more intuitive.

Re: behringer 3-day countdown to ...

Yep I do - all the behringer threads are starting to ruin MW. Can we just have a dedicated behringer thread instead of all these free advertisements for their crappy products? Well, behringer neutron was my way into modular toguether with dfam, I ended selling it and getting an 0-coast instead. If ...

Marc Doty said this over at Gearslutz: > Korg involved me in the creation of the Reverb documentary about the 2600. I thought for a second I'd missed a new documentary, but he actually means the big ad he was in the other day. Well it was a thoroughly excellent advert then! And I say that as someon...

Re: Korg Arp 2600 Eurorack compatibility

I've been using my TTSH/ARP2600 replica with eurorack for a few years now. No real problems at all, bar the already mentioned gate voltage. Also, in my experience the clock output won't clock all eurorack modules reliably. Fortunately it will clock my 4MS clock divider, which essentially reprocesses...

I notice you have a couple of Doepfer Wasp filters there. They are somewhat notorious for failing, which could potentially strain your power supply.

Parts Sourcing Help?! "Radiohm ST1042" switches

Greetings folks. Might anyone know where I could find some Radiohm ST1042 momentary push button switches? They are for my old Doepfer MAQ 16/3. It has 8 of them, and one of them double triggers sometimes. Doepfer no longer has any, and neither does EMIS in Bristol. I've tried pumping the thing full ...

Funny how, when the TT303 mk1 came out, almost everybody poo pooed it out. :hihi: As I recall, that wasn't because it was particularly bad. It was more because of some previous bad goings on with the company behind the product (Technology Transplant). Like the TT vs Adafruit debacle, bad quality x0...

Or else you'd see it between 'Rom update' & 'OK' If some files were to appear there, then your jog wheel would do something also. Just so we're clear(!?) My SD card ...
