This is very sad news. Blacet Time Machine and MiniWave have broght me many hours of joy over the years. On a few occasions I interacted with Mr. Blacet as his DIY customer, he was always very professional, honest, kind and helpful. RIP.

Instead of listening to the sound I sometimes look at the visual (oscilloscope) output. Interesting visual patterns are often related to interesting sounds. Here is an example I made for the aforementioned sduck's 'blind patching' challenge:

Very cool design and demo, Ian! So the functional difference between the old EN-73 design and the new one is that the second pulse amplitude is voltage controlled?

Thanks, sduck! :)

I forgot to mention sduck's channel that includes some of the coolest modular videos on YouTube (and who sadly doesn't publish that frequently anymore):

I am using color by length scheme (red = 4", orange = 8", yellow = 12", green = 18", blue = 24", purple = 36", black = 72"), silicone 12 AWG cable with Pomona 1825 stackable banana plugs. Signal/CV path in banana systems tends to split and diverge a lot, so I find coloring by length more useful in p...

Sometimes I am using visual approach to patching: turn down the volume, connect two patch points to X-Y oscilloscope channels, and try to generate a pleasing pattern just by looking at the scope screen. Then turn the volume up. Nice patterns often reveal harmonic relationships between the signals an...

Most of first panel of my Tangerine Synth are CGS modules (2 x DUSG, 2 x SSG, Triple Wave Folder, Wave Multipliers, Slope Detector, VCFQ Filter, 2 x Real Ring Modulator, VC Phaser, Spring Reverb). Still, there are more than twice as many PCBs in the backlog. https://www.muffwiggler.com/forum/userpix...

The SMD headers seem pretty sturdy. I am using ribbon cable to connect the boards and there are no issues. Make sure you leave enough clearance between the boards (I am using 1.25" standoffs).
