Re: Xaoc Jena, Drezno, Lipsk: Leibniz Binary Subsystem update!

Got the Jena just under a week ago and really loving it.

Even without the Jena this all does effectively act as a quantizer as I understand it, just not with a 12 tone scale.

Re: Xaoc Jena, Drezno, Lipsk: Leibniz Binary Subsystem update!

My Jena arrives today and I don't see anything in the manual about how to connect multiple modules up. I'm hoping to have a Lipsk inverting bits on the Drezno and the Jena wired up without a Lipsk connected to the Drezno. I wish they had a visual for different routing options, but maybe someone here...

Re: Xaoc Jena, Drezno, Lipsk: Leibniz Binary Subsystem update!

Really itching for a Jena and trying to hold out for a used one to pop up. Has there been any speculation on what the next piece of the system will look like?

Re: Intellijel Plonk

Trying to isolate noise issues in my case. I'm wondering if anyone has a low level high-pitched noise when you power on with the Plonks. I can't help but wonder if it's always been there as I test the Plonks in other cases that I've used them with. Is it the kind of thing that's always been there, b...

Re: Konstant Lab PSU

Hello,

I got a Blackhole Six case with a Konstant Labs Board PWR and some shrounded 4ms bussticks to run from that. I'm experiencing some noise with the Plonks in the case though.

Does anyone have suggestions on how to solve that problem?

Thanks!

Planning on flying with a case. Monorocket 6U104. Anyone flown with one and has anyone had any issues?

I have it in a little stereo signal processing chain that I use to sweeten up my recordings. I'm a big fan for sure. Pondering (eventually) an Overstayer Modular channel, but my Macbook Pro is dying so it'll probably be a long while. If you're looking for a bit of coloration to a recording, it's a g...

Yeah, fair. Just to add clarity, this is what he said on August 11th of last year in an email: "the Sport Mod is kind of out of production :/ but I'm gona reinvent it at some point" . When I posted looking on a FB group, someone tagged him and said to just reach out, but I figured that'd be sort of ...

About a year ago I was trying to track down a second and Toppobrillo said they were no longer producing Sport Mods and he was toying with the idea of an updated version. Hard to track them down now, but if you're patient, they eventually show up. My third is arriving in the next couple days I think....

Have these shipped to US distributors? When I pre-ordered this at Control, I had no idea it'd take a few weeks (or more?). The only cause for concern is that I'll be headed to Iceland for a couple weeks. I guess I had imagined it'd arrive before that trip. Not a crisis, I may just need to stay on to...

Dealing with this 0-5v frustration recently too when trying to pair it with stuff that needs a bit more. Has anyone contacted ALM about this? Or modding it somehow (I know nothing about that sort of thing, so maybe that's a dumb question?)...

As pointed out - options are limited.

Have one, love it, no regrets at the (perhaps?) high price - because it's super packed with functionality in the space. I haven't worked with it a ton yet, but I've had a couple moments where it seems like the main tuning knob isn't super consistent in how responsive it is. I don't 'play' that part ...

Yeah, I did the paid version of this when it first ran (I guess now it's just non-stop?) and found it very worthwhile. There was a point where I just hit a wall towards the end of the class, but even if you can get through the first 4-5 sessions you'll learn a lot of the fundamentals. I kind of wish...

I use it for percussion sequencing/envelope creation more often than any other use. Shifting knobs in subtle ways can shift the rhythm in all kinds of fantastic directions :)

Plux Quba was actually reissued a year or two ago I believe. Not sure if that pressing vanished, but...I had the Dexter's Cigar (or was it Moikai?) reissue on CD when it first came out in the late 90s (if I recall) and was excited to get the vinyl reissue :)

The whole premise of this seems strange. If you want to play out, play out. There are risks with any venture, including occasionally possibly losing money playing out. Just decide if sharing your art is worth it or important to you.

When I was debating a second Maths in a 6U case, I decided to get a SSF Mini Slew and I really really enjoy it.
