Built the yusynth Steiner filter but a whole synthacon would be sweet. David Ingebretsen of Analogue Realities resurrected the Synthasystem (and the Microcon) as a SDIY project and made the PCBs available with Nyle Steiner's blessing. The circuits aren't exactly the same but you could certainly go s...

Nice to see this module has so much love. thanks guys :) There is a new version on the workbench. first proto arrived and we are making a couple of changes. It's going to have a pot for the response instead of a switch and improved performance. we do not have a clear date for it to be released, but...

The samples loop so i think its quite hard to get proper one shots.

The closest i got is to chop the drum loops using the start point and pressure points or loop drums that way.

I've read a few shoot outs of the various output modules and some seem pretty bad sound wise so I'm a cautiously optermistic this will be good. Interesting, do you remember where I could find those shootouts? I just searched and there was a long thread with a few people buying a couple and comparin...

I use my modular for songs a lot, nodding & experimenting is sampled too for later use. I do it like this. Have my modular setup with two outputs one to the mixing desk and one to my mpc. The mpc does all the sequencing unless i'm using something euros specific (turing).I just sample the modular int...

Its a stiener Parker clone. Yusynth designed it for the mini brute. If your into DIY you can build it. I built one and it's amazing, band pass is my favourite.

I was using the mpc and beat step pro together but the beatstep wouldn't sync properly to the mpc master so it had to go. Wouldn't mind getting another one when they fix the firmware. I found that the features of jjos, sequencing wise and the arp beat the beatstep for me. Of course the mpc does a lo...

NekoNeko Noobynoob question, what's the difference between surface mount and through hole? Refers to the type of components and design. I'm a synth tech so this interests me. Well i might come under fire for my view as the results won't be proven for another 20 years but.. Surface mount or SMD is t...

Yea it peaked my interest with 1/4 outs, dedicated headphone out and extra a/b mix. I've read a few shoot outs of the various output modules and some seem pretty bad sound wise so I'm a cautiously optermistic this will be good.

Might take the plunge on it soon but it's not high on my list.

I've built a fair few for folks and have a fully expanded one apart from the vactrol mix. probably not the best for s first as if it goes wrong you need some debugging skills. It's a great module and source of ideas, but I will echo the lack of reset comment...however I found trying to control the T...

On Rush current is a bitch as you can't really spec a module on its on rush when it could settle to a really low consumption. This is true with all audio gear but usually they don't share a common supply and onrush max is handless by a fuse. Obviously when you have a case with lots of modules with t...
