Need a small Eurorack case with rails? Have a laser cutter?

http://i1.wp.com/syinsi.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/05/MAP_4626-Medium-Small.jpg Here's the files you need to make this case. This case was designed a while ago to hold a few modules for testing without taking up too much room on a crowded bench or desk. It’s around 54hp wide, and 65mm deep. The ra...

Four sets of rails for $2.

Image

Obtained at a local radio club boot sale. Best find in years!

Don't recognize the style, but one's 2.5mm and the other 3mm in Eurorack pitch.

Good question. I'd be interested in knowing this as well.

A couple weeks ago I was fixing a scratchy pot in a Focusrite interface and was considering jumpering the output and input caps.

The LM4040 is in the sweet spot for reasonable accuracy/reasonable cost (a couple dollars from Digikey.) .1% tolerance, but not so great PPM/C.

I use a solution of half 99% IPA and half ammonia-based window cleaner. Spray on the board and gently scrub with a soft-bristled paint brush, then rinse with another spray bottle of distilled water. Repeat until sparkly (usually twice). I also started tinning boards to reduce the need for flux on th...

thx2112 Is it possible to record and playback sequences using only CV/Gate and Clock, not MIDI? Right now it starts on either a button press, sync24 clock, or MIDI start, depending on what's master. I'm thinking of adding DIN sync start/stop on the next revision which I'm working on now. Recording ...

Didn't feel like buying a Sequential Pro-One just for the sequencer so built one instead. https://www.muffwiggler.com/forum/userpix2/20251_map_4675_medium_small_1.png Details: http://syinsi.com/the-prone-cv-midi-sequencer/ In action: http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=I8VH3VZtU...

I use those same plastic containers ($1 for six at the dollar store) to store less-used parts away from the bench, but I'm only up to a couple dozen.

The plastic is very brittle (polycarbonate?) and the lids crack after a few uses.

Eurorack Panel Designer/Calculator available.

I wrote an extension for Inkscape to design Eurorack panel blanks for lasercutting/cnc-ing. https://www.muffwiggler.com/forum/userpix2/20251_capture_1.png Give it a try and let me know about any bugs or comments. I'm in the process of doing mine. Had no problems replacing the battery (which also leaked) but the board is fine and works as it should.

But I think I'll still get the KiwiSix for the other features.
