My guess is that what Behringer are actually doing is putting forward suggestions to let their social marketing algorithm do it's work and analyse whether or not this is a product they will get enough interest from to justify building it. My guess is that it may well end up being too costly for them...

I would love for this project to be available here and now, as would many of us who have shown an interest in this project. But my thoughts turn to Julien as no one more than he would like to have the pcbs and panels ready and out in the open. I'm very grateful for all the exhaustive work he has put...

I feel that taking my experience with my TTSH I would like to see the vco design follow vco 2 as the original design leads me to frequently patch in from external modular sources. The only other naggle I have are the too short envelope times and would be happy to see switches that gave optional enve...

In my experience I try to avoid the spray on adhesives. I prefer working with the paint on glues as these give a thicker coat which so far seems to hold for longer than the spray stuff. But they do take a bit longer to dry.

The TTSH provides the bass line to this track. Really loving this synth now I've finally calibrated the VCA and VCF correctly. It really stands out well in the mix as intended. If you are on the fence as to whether you should build one, don't be they sound fantastic. https://soundcloud.com/nickster/...

I have been calibrating my TTSH according to the ARP owners manual. But am having trouble with the vca calibration. On page 57 trying to get the high frequency rejection trimmed is impossible as the high freq rej trimmer appears to have no effect. Also the ring modulator calibration is happered by m...

I use my Karp Odyssey to trigger my TTSH and love both of them. They are sonically to my ears quiet different. A very enjoyable pairing.

Also very curious about how this is going. I've already sourced the materials from the BOM and am eager to start this. Jamming on the original mini at work is getting a bit tiresome :hihi: hoping all is going well though and that we are nearly there now.

Bit of an unfair comparison as both are lovely jubbly each in there own way. Played both side by side and for me in what I enjoy the Jupiter 8 has the edge over the p5.

Oh no don't make me go back there. :deadbanana:
Let's just say there are a number of "I'll get around to finishing them" projects.

But there are also a good deal of finished and running synths, sequencers and modules. So I don't tend to feel that bad about the ones that got away. :nana:

Agreed. I guess for Roland it must be a corporate branding issue. Where Boutiques get the look and the Aira range gets to go green toothpaste :goo: Whoever signed off on that must have been either really disinterested in design or just too far down the corporate greasy pole to be brave enough to say...

I added a film filter to glue it all together.
Aesthetics are fairly important to me. So if the System 8 came out like this as stock. I would be all over it in a rash. Nice work

Now the dust has somewhat settled Roland made my mind up for me. The TB-03 is not for me and I've ordered a TT-303. Having a TB-3 already made me doubtful of the boutique version and having heard the ADSR comparison to a TB 303 I felt very much that I was hearing in the TB-03 exactly what I hear in ...

JP-08's. Which now that I have them properly working with my Novation SL 61 are a joy to play and program. Does this mean you've found a solution for the odd poly-chaining? Well that's an interesting question. Which I'm not sure if I have a definitive answer to. But I did initially update the maste...
