Re: Corsynth DR-03
Thanks Kindredlost , I'm happy that you like it. I've tried to make it as versatile as possible and to give the user the control to design it's own sound. About the demos some of them are just the DR-03 and the others have "soloed" the DR-03 part at the end of the demo. In general the only sounds th...

Re: Yusynth VCO problems
After seen the 10K saw I think that the problem that you are having is that C8 is not discharging fast enough. Check the Gate of Q1, you should see a pulse that should be something under 10 microseconds long. If it's longer or take to long to rise, the problem could be in the comparator U5. Try for ...

Re: Yusynth VCO problems
The saw in the 100hz seems that is not centered and it doesn't have 10Vpp. The saw wave has to be more or less 10Vpp and go from +/-5V. Any unbalance between the positive and negative side will affect the triangle and the sine wave. But again this can be an effect of the oscilloscope been in AC mode...

Re: Yusynth VCO problems
You should check all your waveforms in DC mode. As you could see with the pulse the AC filtering affects the shape wave form.

Re: Yusynth VCO problems
Check that the 5V voltage reference is correct ( U7a). Also I would lower the frequency to 100hz or so for calibrating the waveforms. If I'm not mistaken, the volts/div in the oscilloscope is in 0.1ms per division setting so your VCO is more of less at 1Khz. When you rise the frequency the effects o...

Re: Corsynth DR-03
Thorsday , here you have a playlist with some audio demos. All sounds come from the DR-03 except for bass and snare drums. Only delay and reverb has been added. The filter sweeps that can be heard in these demos are from the DR-03 with external modulation ( LFO, enve etc ) https://soundcloud.com/cor...

Re: Corsynth DR-03
Thanks for the post Steffen! :) . It took me a bit longer than I would have wanted but it's finally happening. The module was ready months ago but with the Covid situation I decided to delay its release. Panels and PCBs have been ordered and they should arrive in a couple of weeks so the module shou...

Re: mmmmmultiples
I think I completely overestimate how many 5u guys are DIYers like myself. Really there’s not that many it seems For sure there are more people interested in you panels but not everyone is here at Muffs. Try to post about your panels at these Facebook groups. They are all dedicated to 5U and MU and...

:hail: :hail: :hail: :hail: Amazing, it really sounds like a string ensemble. It has soul, you can feel that it's not just a midi file. I love that you can hear every string with different attacks, it makes the music to feel alive. Also the dynamics are really good. Really good job il Prete Rosso wo...

Maybe you can ask STG. The 7605 is no so common and I don't think that you will find it easily. If you don't mind to mix a bit the knob style you can use one of these available at digykey. https://media.digikey.com/photos/Tyco%20Photos/PKB90B1%5E4.JPG https://www.digikey.es/product-detail/en/te-conn...

If I'm not mistaken it's the Cosmo 7603. The diameter is 1,25 inches.

Re: How do you guys tune your oscs?
I've found it's hard to do it with a mobile app. I don't know what app have you tried but the BOSS Chromatic Tunner is great. It's really accurate even with low notes and it's free. I've found it really easy and fast to use. It's available for Iphone and Android [video]http://www.youtube.com/watch?...
