I use the chain you're speaking on... There are a bunch of pedal I/O modules that will work for an output to go back from Eurorack to an amp. I use a Radial Reamp box for this, and a Boss LS-2 to switch between a modular processed sound, and a traditional electric guitar chain. Also note the a-119 ...

Well now I guess I've got to go to the show! Seems like some people think it's the head of AM's record label. There doesn't seem to be many pictures of him live either.

Thanks guys. I assumed ageism because most of the discussion I'd read seemed to always express disbelief that he was legit, only because he was promoted as a retiree, or from Eastern Europe, and the discussion around him playing behind a screen- something I've seen at least five times in the last co...

so why do people think this is some type of a hoax? Or is it simply ageism? I hear this often, but no one ever explains why they think this. I love the records either way. Just trying to figure out where this assumption comes from.

I'm not a big compression user, hate the overuse in a lot of today's music. I think people are sometimes using compression when they really should be using an EQ instead. But I do like stuff like Elysia's Xpressor, for the "blend" knob. Parallel compression, or just using it on say the drum bus- bes...

Acoustic guitars got brighter over time, I think. Listen to a Taylor guitar vs a vintage Gibson, it's night and day. Going to 2nd the modern engineering comments. In many recording situations there was the artist, the engineer, and a producer all present; the engineer's personal opinion was non-exis...

I'm moving to Croatia. But I'm moving back permanently (I'm a Croatian citizen) and so have the right to bring all my stuff back without having to pay customs fees. Also, the 110V line will be put in for free(ish, you know.. will provide some beer and lamb or whatever) by an electrician friend :) S...

Where are you moving to? Depending on where it is, it might not be worth it. When I looked into this it was far cheaper to sell my 110v gear and re-buy everything switching or for 240v. The shipping and tax issues alone were more than the gear, and the 110v line was ridiculously expensive. Step down...

I have no concrete info, but I doubt this will ever happen. TBH I’m not sure I see the point in this. Discrete SEM components as insividual modules, on the other hand, would be cool: a Tom Oberheim SEM filter module, a dual oscillator etc. How well does the Patch Panel SEM work with eurorack? Does ...
