How does the CV in/ Tap tempo work for people on these (specifically Gravitas)? Very curious about the MIDI implementation too... I looked at the manual online, am I right in thinking you'll have to filter or change eurorack level signals to get this thing synched? I'm in the market for some CV/tap...

Anyone had experience with the Red Panda Context? It looks really interesting but all the youtubes are guitar demos. Still looking for pedal that does a good plate and can reach 100% wet. The Red Panda can do the latter but it's hard to tell about the former.. I'm looking at this pedal too, as well...

I A/Bd the HS5, HS7 this past winter, I went with the HS7. Note what JohnLRice says above, they're back ported. I've always had front ported monitors, and fell in love with the HS8 on a project last summer without realizing they were back ported (which is tough in my tight space.) if you 100% need t...

Seconding a bunch of suggestions that others have made: Cascade Fat Head (prefer 1st version but both are good) E609 (not into the 906) Coles 4038 (give 1ft or more though) 421 Sm57, sm48 or sm58 Sm7b Combine any of these with an sm57 or sdc in various ways and you're in business. I'd also consider ...

Anyone have experience with the Walrus Audio Descent? Seems like it would solve 3 problems in 1 pedal for me (octave up/down, cool strange reverb, standard reverb) and online it sounds pretty great.

^^^ this might be ok for a 1-2hr domestic flight but I've had disasters with using just clothes and/ or bubble wrap for protection. Nothing worse than opening your bag and seeing a broken key bed. You want something semi solid to protect the keys and knobs as they're guaranteed to get like 100lbs of...

The smartest thing is to call your airline and tell them what you want to do. They'll help you. The dumbest thing you can do is ship it- you'll pay customs duty too which is really high on musical instruments as I remember. If you want to pay about 300+ in taxes alone then go for it... If you try to...

I am assuming no, but is the korg arp odyssey/case carryon size for airports? thanks Probably not going to be able to carry it on without permission from the check in desk (like you would for a guitar or golf clubs, surfboard, skis, etc.) The biggest case I've gotten away with carry on without prob...

The qunexus has cv I/O so it can still be useful when you're at home. Some people like the pads vs mini keys and for me it all depends on what you're doing (drums, bass, ambient: pads; melodies, a live show: keys) If you don't need another usb/cv box, and don't mind the larger size, the microkorg sh...

Re: what exactly am I gonna need to use gear bought in US in

never had to deal with this before I have an apple macbook pro, korg arp ody, sherman filterbank, and korg microkorg (also runs on batteries but prefer power supply) do I simply need to buy different power supplies for each piece of gear to use in EU, or does the gear require internal changes/adjus...
