I've had the weller wsm1 c recommended to me, but it's so pricey. Is there anything in Europe that I should look out these days? I like the weller features and size, but it's just too pricey..

The fenix was three separate tracks played live. Kick, bass and sequence.
Then I overdubbed the XTk a few times and mixed with the dynacord vrs23 and a big Lloyds analog delay.

Lost at Sea - tascam 388, EMS VCS3 and dynacord vrs23

I layered some tracks of VCS3. Nothing else, just the vrs23 for reverb. The main low sound, a high string, an effect wobble!, 2 chords that open and close to create a progression and the fog horn, which I love! It's the filter resonance into the spring manually controlled. I hope it shows a) what th...

Watching the videos though you mention the whole thing needs an external clock to get going? If the envelopes are in cycle mode will they not even start, or would I want to consider at minimum this paired with something like a 158 clone? Could you use one of them as a master clock for the rest of t...

Have you seen his "spirit of Trumansburg" systems? They're pretty cool looking.

Spirit of Trumansburg
I have!
I like the 10/12/15 form though and a fixed filter plus a few extras would be cool.

Not unexpected, but still very sad. I got my 200 in about 1990 and a couple of years later, the 300. That was crazy. A synth from the mid 70's with a display for patch editing, patch storage and sequencing! A bank of DCO. It was a mental machine and beautiful. But the 200 I owned was for me the most...

The screen is old school for sure! But there is the manager for OS X and windows which seems to be useful for detailed setting up. Once setup though, it's just about loading settings. BUT as you say, the space and gear saved is immense and this generation is CLEARLY better sounding. It actually soun...

Moved to a new place and space is more limited, so decided to get this to have a home setup Best digital console I've used and now with 16 I/O straight to and from the daw (that sound fine) and the vsm effects included it's a real space saver. Still an analogue mixing person, but the latest from Yam...
