Didn't reflash the firmware actually.
As someone suggested that the processor might have been damaged due to the previous ICs mismatch I will try this and will report back!

I knew from the manual what the usual behavior should be regarding this. But as those builds are not 100% exact replica of the original, I was just wondering if by (lack of) chance this may be a "normal" behavior due to the PCB design (even if I strongly doubt it) or if it was my units and assembly ...

Re: Twists prasite

Did anybody try to install parasite on Twists? Do you have any suggestion? Or should I just use the mqtthiqs/parasites repository on github and flash my units using the code quoted above? are you using a stereo or mono mini jack cable? Pls let me know more how you get on with flashing the code usin...

Twists prasite

Hello. Did anybody try to install parasite on Twists? I just built two units and can't load parasites firmware to them. When I turn on the module in boot mode and feed it with the .wav file it looks like it gets no signal at all since the Algrorithm firmware doesn't react. I tried different ways to ...

On Twists, the algorithm knob is not showing signal level when doing firmware update using a .wav file... Is this normal?

Man, Sounds actually like both of my units are working fine... I couldn't find any video showing the freeze functionality used with two inputs. I read the manual (after a long day of work) and now that you bolded this specific part of the manual it's clear!!! IT WORKS!!!! :ripbanana: :bananaguitar: ...

U1 & U2 read AC. In Twists BOM it says Name: TL072ACD; Value: MCP6002 (can't find the equivalent in the Warps BOM) Are those wrong too? Yes - should be mcp6002, not tl072 - oops ! (mcp6002 is a rail-to-rail opamp, tl072 isn’t). Warps uses an mcp6004 (rather than two mcp6002s) Thanks. :hail: I'll ch...

What did you use for IC 6, U1, and U2? They are all TL072 but the IC6 one has a different pin layout than the U1 and U2 ICs... Did you use the same chip for all three ICs? hmmm... I need to check this properly as I did order all of the components a while ago. But I have the strange feeling and memo...

No way to find out how to fix this (and if this is normal ...) Unit two: Short between TP2-3 fixed, IC5 tested ok, IC4 as for unit one: short where the pins conn...

Had another stare at your photos - what has happened to C35, R40 and R41? - correction R40 and 41 are DNP Thanks a lot. I didn't see this C35 being totally out of the place... I'll fix this and will try to see if it works better. My other unit has the C35 in the right place... R40/R41 are DNP (do n...

Is the normalisation signal getting through to the appropriate points in the circuit? IC3 and to the Codec when no inputs are plugged in - this is from the original Warps schematic, the you’ll need to check the new designations for this variant. IC3 was removed from this design. But still, how and ...

Twists DIY

Hello. I just finished the build of two Twists. The flashing was done successfully. I followed the calibration procedure with pots turned fully clockwise which resulted in giving the the Algo pot the nice expected color changing behaviour. But it looks like most of the algorithms don't work normally...

I've recently built three units that have this behaviour and am trying to understand where could this come from. I'm starting to fear a hardware design issue... Actually I did forget to configure the "Base Output" according to the actual outputs on the FH-2.

So now I can tell: MIDIMATE eX, Octatrack and FH-2 work together as a charm

FH-2 and Octatrack

Hi every body. I just got the FH-2 but it looks like I can't get it to do what I thought would be easy as pie: Namely, trying to allocate different midi tracks from the octatrack to different outputs on the FH-2 in order to play diffrent monophonic voices on the modular :cloud: But no way to do that...

Very strange behavior indeed: after feeding a clock, everything seemed to work normaly. At first, euclidian mode also missed random trigs, then I switched off and on the system and euclidian en drumming duties mode where inverted (according to the LEDs feedback and also for the strange behaviour).
