After a bit of fiddling: the VCA SENS should be all the way to mod and the switch below that set to AD. S8 selects either the LFO or A.D. outputs to modulate the amplitude of the signal being fed into IC2D when R39 is turned fully clockwise (marked 'Modulation' on front panel) Turning R39 fully coun...

Re: MFOS WP-20 noise synth

As having one built recently for myself I recall having the same issues. - First I hear oscillator with low volume even when I don't touch trig button. If I remember correctly, the solution is to lower the VCA output/sens. level. If you crank it up, it will bleed through. - the filter isn't closed u...

Isn't that what you'd use Mouser/Digikey/etc for?

Oh, no:

Unfortunately we decided not to make any more DIY Kits.
The demand is very big and the time we need to prepare the kits does not let us focus on other projects. We are really sorry about this… We hope for your understanding :D

Thank you again PWM! Re-soldering the line out fixed it. And the faint extra sound is absent from line out. Thanks PWM! Sorry, forgot to mention, I run it on standard 9V batteries. It does not go away if I touch the ground either. I might be able to post a sound example later if that helps. I think ...

Thanks PWM! Sorry, forgot to mention, I run it on standard 9V batteries. It does not go away if I touch the ground either. I might be able to post a sound example later if that helps. I think I redid the line out joints as well but going to check again. The 'faint high pitched sound' you describe co...

Looking for some help

Hi All, Finished the build a couple of days ago. After turning it on the first time, it made a lot of cracking noise so I redid some of the soldering that felt a bit short. I must have done something really stupid because now I don't have any signal on the line out. The headphone out seems to work f...
