After looking at it a bit further, the whammy bar seems intersting - guess as someone who has no experience with guitars it's difficult for me to grasp or something... Gotta say it is nice that Roger has something completely out of left field ^_^ I do like that the keyboard itself has two MIDI input...

Now I'm really curious as to where to get those panels, or at least designs! ^_^

I have absolutely no plans on losing my MU setup, even if I more than likely wind up adding in at least 6U of frac to the whole setup (I always wanted a bit of that as it was the other choice I was contemplating). The addition of frac has absolutely nothing to do with the fact I'm soon to have a bun...

I don't quite know what my thoughts are on the prices.. I do like the fact that the basic keyboard itself is more or less the same cost as the old one, but... Err, wait... the sides are $22 EACH for the straight sides?!?! So just the chassis for a five octave and a box4 is already looking at $616 US...

JLR, seeing your post about the quad sympleSEQ reminds me I really should finally buy that soldering iron and actually build mine ^_^;;;

I'll also add in that the SEQsquared was designed to play well with the sympleSEQs, making them even more flexible ^_^

I currently have one, although it doesn't get too much use at present (and will more than likely be replaced when Synthersizers.com comes out with their new modular keyboard). CV/Gate seems to be fine, and I've no idea if arpeggiation goes through those outputs or not (honestly can't remember). Ther...

The supra was cool, but no one will ever make replicas. Btw.. What's the most replcated car? Actually, there's word Toyota's been developing a mk5 Supra for some time now. As for replicas, why replicate something that's good when there are still plenty of good quality chassis left out there at reas...

Out of the two, I'd pick frac myself, and not just because it was the second choice for my formats (but I instead went with dotcom, because, as some friends jokingly say, I'm a size queen! :P ) While euro does have a TON of insane crazyness going on, one of the biggest things I like with most frac m...

When I redo things, I'm probably going to pick up a bunch of those velcro cable ties as well as zip ties. It won't be the prettiest thing on the block, but it should hopefully get my own cable clutter taken care of. As for actually hiding cables? I'm not one to talk, since I have cat5e cabling runni...

Right now, I seem to be in the middle of the spectrum, although I'm pretty sure I'm never getting rid of my keyboards or even Maschine. It's the same here for cars. The street cars of the 50's,60's, and 70's are highly collectable. No one would think much of something of the 80's. They were junk and had no character. I must disagree, at least on two fronts: the mkII Supra and the 83.5-87 Toyota Corolla (aka AE86) are both fairly we...

I agree with what KnobHell said... I was originally looking at modulars in 2006/2007 and took until 2011 before actually purchasing one. Oddly enough, I haven't expanded my modular since, but that's because I've been taking care of a bunch of other projects first... ^_^;;;

That's the issue with Euro to MU conversion. The 'style guide' gets thrown right out the window, hence my comment above about polluting my traditionalist system. Sure, polluting is a bit of a strong word. But those tiny knobs, lack of symmetry spoils my obsessive compulsive ideals. Yeah, I know, it...

Potentially interested, assuming I could find the cash and the cost isn't too prohibitive. A couple of questions come to mind though... - What do the panels look like? - Are the knobs standard size compared to traditional modules in the formats (especially looking at MU here) - Will the power jacks/...
