If Akai takes notes from Modal I'll burn my MPC. Haha. I had an 008 for a while and I did not love the UI. Goes to show how personal these things are. I think craft was a seperate managed project that modal bought, so perhaps the 008/002 were in a different OS framework than the Craft. For $100, th...

Agree, Akai needs to buy Modal, and use their UI/filter/digital expertise to overhaul the next version of this machine. My Craft synth phone UI is 10 times more useful for adjusting levels and molding the synth parameters than the wasted space used in the MPCs menus. There is a rabbit hole you can j...

Has anyone mastered CC control for connected devices on the Live? Can you point to where I would be able to assign q links to control the connected machine parameters? Thx

Here is what I consider the "official" manual for this synth. All bases covered and some presets made available to get up to speed with saving/loading patches. Out so quickly from launch!! I really like modulating the double knot clock speed (either via it's own cv or something else), then using it as clock master for keystep/beatstep pro/multicassa etc, anything that accepts gate - get's seriously spazzy! The keystep will convert clock input to midi sync out too if you need that for...

Req: Tips on cross patching multiple semi modular synths..

Ive recently acquired a good pile of semi modulars because GAS, and have been having a blast exploring each synths feature sets. One area where I would like to travel next would be combining multiple units together to access features other units lack. Are there key features on the synths below that ...

Just had to return mine for DSP boot failure. But as soon as I get that refund, I'm buying another. When it's working, there is so much to love and it sounds beautiful. FYI, mine had this same issue.. There is a ribbon cable that has two heavy weights on both sides (probably for reducing noise) tha...

Quick Q on the banana port on the side of the DK. Is that the ground to use with other banana synths?
