but I think great contemporary minds can create contemporary ideas with anything, old tools, old ideas, it's a matter of talent and vision and mixing different things in the right way, looking around with ears wide open.. it's easy to agree with this, but at the end of the day it does not work for ...

I had many cool modular synth and hardware From Buchla 200e to Synthi A, moogs, Nagras, not to talk of real Basses and Guitars and at the end of the day I do my best music in MaxMSP and pure data. So after 20 years in analog modulars (and 16 in max) I ended on single board computers (raspberry pi). ...

I never intended my softwares a commercial product, rather I think of my work as software-art that is available for a limited time. It's the software I build for my music and I give it away for a fair price... Do not expect updates, do not expect customer care (though I always try to help), expect o...

Self playing MOOGs, Buchla style

The mighty Mother32 can indeed work with self playing patches Buchla style. Actually you will need two Mothers to make a Mother "64" fully capable of this and a lot more. In this video the two filters are used as oscillators (the second VCO AM modulates the first also) and the sequencers are set in ...

Not saturating intentionally.
I guess a bit of saturation occurs in the catalibread echorec. that's it.
The mothers have a full broad tone, very very deep and crystal clear.

The sound card is the Fireface UC. No compressors or eq used.

My Mother 64(2x32) has landed and music's already flowing out. So here it is, the first track of a concept- Mother only - LP The cover pic is mine, taken with a 200mm telescope. I definitely want to dig into this cinematic sound. The Mother is endless. Enjoy https://soundcloud.com/tobor-experiment/h...
