Re: transitioning to Apple silicon

Do you mean it can contain 32Gb of data? No. the 8GB seems to operate as well as 32GB on an intel under similarloads. It runs with around the same 'RAM pressure' measurement as 32gb... not a scientific measurement... an impression... but a load of live tabs in Safari, Chrome and firefox at the same...

Re: transitioning to Apple silicon

Got a bottom of the line M1 mac mini... on an edu deal... it is fantastic so far. 8gb ram runs like 32gb on an intelmachine. 256 SSD is pitiful... and Apple are taking the piss with their SSD/RAM upgrade prices... i have a 1tera tb3 ext ssd hooked up as my solution... but the non-upgradeableness is ...

Again, Uli tucks in his t-shirts and wears a belt with them. If that's not enough to warn you away from the man and brand nothing will be. Oh shit, I've been doing that for years. Re: Behringer: practices, ethics, morals and legitimacy.

No objection, just curious. If I personally judge a course of action to be undesirable according to my value system, I would struggle to feel neutral about someone else pursuing that course. In the end, it is the choices we make that define us. Exactly. there are things I object to or having moral ...

Nothing hypothetical about it, they are ridiculous questions and you know it.... I am just engaging with the...

It's a moral choice, right? Never bought any Behringer, and never will. They make me sick, and have done since the 90s. Fuck them and the clones they rode in on. It's why I won't buy Klark Teknik or Turbosound, or Midas, or TC Electronic gear any more either. So hypothetically. What if you were col...

Actually what I meant was that corps' CSR and charitable programs are not measured dollar for dollar and no one would get sacked in the way you proposed. It's not how it works. Most academic research points to corpCSR programs, underneath all the obfuscation, being SOLELY measured on a dollar for d...

Corps like Yamaha and Korg do not give money away. If they donated and didn't promote it then they must be writing it off on taxes somehow.
