I've only used this site for 2 years and have found it to be nothing but useful. I never met Mike, but I supported the patreon out of respect for what he was doing. I am sad.

I probably would never have had the courage to step into the modular world were it not for this forum. I wouldn't know Mike in a lineup but his impact on me through this forum is tremendous whether it be knowledge imparted or music discovered or anything else.

I can't help but imagine that now he is free from body, he could and would check in on past, present and future wigglers and continue sharing in the gift he gave us all.

What a terrible shock, so sad. May he rest in peace. MW was his place, and he made it mine and everyone else's.

hi everyone. my name is Kira, I'm Mike's daughter. everything feels so surreal right now. I don't know what's going on. We aren't completely sure what happened, but he passed away in his sleep, and is now free of suffering. I will be taking all of his synths and musical instruments and I will do my best to make beautiful music with them. if anyone is close to him and is going to be in Ottawa on the weekend, please email me at kirajane@gmail.com

Mike's passing makes me sad. I admire him for choosing to make this forum a friendly and ethical place rather than go for the millions like what's-his-face and the other guy.

Without Muffs, I might not be as invested as I am in sound, music, electronics, etc. This community/forum is the hub of how I share those interests and participate in what others are doing.

Other people are necessary for helping us develop our interests and passions. We need a place to get and give feedback. Thanks, Mike, for knowing that and acting on it for all of our benefit.
